Because it may have damning information. He says he won't release them out of respect for the NYT but he clearly doesn't want anyone to hear what's on those tapes. It's funny watch him BS his way through any talk of these tapes.

I had not heard Romney's daughter organized the debate, but that's because I haven't paid much attention to those fine details.

Trump says Snowdens a spy. I didn't know this but then again he supports Big Brother.

Doing a quick google search, Trump wants Snowden to be executed and when he's president Putin will hand him over.

Well, another reason I don't support him.

It appears the Trump may be starting to "come-down" a bit and slide in to a more presidential demeanor.

Trump mentioned Richard Haass as someone he respects with regard to national security/foreign relations issues. Haass was noticeably absent from the list of national security leaders who said Trump was dangerous. "YUGE" CFR guy. He has also met with Trump during this election cycle.

He's just one of the few names he knew so he used him. When the moderator asked him to give three names I knew that was three names too many for Trump.
