Taipei| The pilot of the infamous flight MH370 of Malaysia Airlines that disappeared in March 2013, Captain Zaharie Ahmad Shah, has mysteriously reappeared in a Taiwan hospital on Monday, suffering from severe dehydration and some type of amnesia.

The 53-year-old pilot was transported at the Taipei Adventist Hospital by a couple of villagers from a nearby town. They claimed to have found the man while he was lying unconscious on the banks of the Tangshui River.

Taiwan: MH370 Pilot Mysteriously Resurfaces Almost Two Years After His Flight Vanished Over China Sea

I did the usual search and was really surprised ATS wasn't all over this. I have to be honest, I really don't know the integrity of the source either.

This has staggering implications if it's true. The first thing that comes to mind is the colossal waste of money the searches over the sea have been. Also, what does this say for the piece of wreckage discovered on an island.

Perhaps the conspiracy world was right that the aircraft was captured and stashed away somewhere. Then again, perhaps it's as simple as the fateful flight went down over land. Whatever it is, if this is indeed true, I for one will be watching this story closely...

I don't believe this is a credible story. That website seems to be full of nonsense, like a teenager claiming Jesus is the father of her unborn child.

I'd say it's fake.

No worries. We all get wrapped-up in a story from time to time and forget to check sources.

Wish this story was true my self.

Why would anyone want to fake something like this?

There are some seriously sick people out there.

Attention grabbing headlines…

The laugh a riot National Enquirer used to sit at the checkout counter, blaring its inane topics at us as we wait.

My wife had a ufo baby!

The good thing about the days before inter webs is that you only saw those kind of headlines at the supermarket checkout. But who can claim they didn't get suckered into buying them on occasion?

After all what if Bigfoot really exists? What if Jesus is back and living in Wisconsin? You don't want to be left out of some new discovery…

I was more outraged about the man who ate 50lbs of food and got kicked out of the buffet. Luckily justice was in the offing as he sued for $2,000,000.

Thats what I thought too, another look alike contest. Pretty cruel actually, many families still haven't been given closure for their loss, what better attention grabber there than rekindling a whole new round of grief and despair?

Still you think? He may have survived all this time, maybe a pod of dolphins adopted him and he's been living with them all this time, swimming and eating kelp…

What if the story was concocted and put "out there" to make some officials nervous? Officials who know what really happened and are hiding it.

It's very bizarre!

Just a thought.

I'm sure they couldn't just easily kick him out if he ate 50lbs of food. Must have been a big boy.
