If you're making 250,000 or more your taxes will go up. Less than that and nothing changes.

He said it himself in the last debate. Middle class workers will be taxed a little more so that their premiums can be lowered a little bit. Like that was our reward for having to pay slightly higher taxes or something.

Those aren't your only choices, unless you're, like so many others, unable to look past the two major candidates...

That's one of the major reasons a third party will never catch on in this country...people unwilling to do the looking.

Last Presidential cycle, I think there were seven candidates for President on my ballot. At least one of them would probably have done better than the cipher who actually got the job...

It's time, and past, that we started looking at other places for our Presidents, not just at the two major parties.

Isn't it?

Yeah but when will it ever kick in? All a third party does is get the other guy elected by taking votes from those willing to look past the two main candidates.

I don't like Hillary, I'm not going to vote for Hillary...but she's been the 2016 presumptive nominee since June 4th, 2008.

What does that matter? It means that every conservative attack that wasn't directed at Obama was directed at Clinton. For all we know, Clinton could've been doing everything legally and on the up-and-up for the last decade...but the attacks and questions have been there because everyone has just assumed that she would be the democratic nominee.

I mean...just look through this thread. Look at nearly every opinion page on conservative websites. I've been told time and time again, 'Obama then Hillary.' Repeat any lie often enough and it become fact. Just like Obama is coming for your guns. He's got less than a year left...I'm sure sometime this summer he'll come for them...anytime now.

Ok so here's the chart by forbes.

Sanders’ plan has taxes remain exactly the same for couples earning less than $232,000 a year. approx.

This is for joint filing so I'm guessing 116,000 a year for an individual. Is that middle or upper middle class?? Is it rich?? Whatever?? Call it what you want.

I'm just going by the chart and it doesn't use "classes" in it's labels.

This is a pretty crazy field we have.

Trump says the right things and has the all over Populist premise, but is arrogant, egotistical, flips his stances, acts Authoritarian when not even NEEDED, and seems to be ignorant on a lot of things.

Cruz is highly intelligent, knows a LOT about law, history, the economy, etc. But seems like he's always in "Speech" mode. The guy 'stutters' for effect, it's not even a real stutter....it's phony. And he's full of Jesus Power...which worries me. And then there are his Banker ties.

Clinton is.....a CLINTON. I don't need to say more.

Bernie is not just a Socialist, he's a Communist...flat out. His whole life is steeped in Communist principles and he's another Social Justice concern guy taking Socialist notes , repackaging them, and saying they're "new and improved'.

I dunno anymore. They're all faulty or broken people. Rand Paul seemed the only one sensible, but look where he is.

When i say outsider, I do not mean he does not know anybody. He does. A lot of people and politicians. However, he is not part of what you would call 'the good ol boy network'. He reminds me of the kid who was bullied who tries and tries, sometimes a bit too hard, to show he can do it to.

He is the MOST transparent candidate this election season and could be in the last century.

he is different, that is for sure

I'm neither a racist, nor a bigot, which ironically is exactly what the MSM claims Trumps supporters are, and you conveniently ate that up while claiming I ate something up that came straight from the mouth of Sanders himself.

Actually I ALSO don't listen to MSM hehehe

I just find it obvious that no one intelligent could like Trump unless they are racist bigots.

You summed it up pretty well, WillTell. If you think about it rationally, it just shouldn’t be this way. We grow up with it being hammered into our heads that we are the mightiest, most powerful nation to ever inhabit this planet - the leader of the free world. Whether in the classroom or through the media, we are reminded that the President of the United States is the most powerful and influential person on Earth. And then when it comes time for us to perform that most sacred and patriotic duty of all and select our next President, the short list of the best and brightest we must choose from looks a lot like a lineup of suspects down at the 3rd Precinct Homicide Unit. Hmmmm...

IDK, maybe this should serve as notice that our nation is backsliding; that we’re heading in the wrong direction. Or even worse that we’ve already left the gate, tracking like a bobsled outta hell and headed for 3rd world status with our hair on fire. Either way, it’s not good.

No matter how you slice it, the bottom line is it’s our own damned fault. If We the People have become so cynical and reactionary that simple common sense no longer prevails, then we’re in trouble and will get exactly what we ask for. Remember, We are the ones to invent Donald (the Schlong) Trump, Politician, and We are the ones to send Cruz, Clinton, Sanders and the rest of the 3rd Precinct lineup to Washington, DC.

Looks like another fine mess we’ve gotten ourselves into. I wish I had answers, but I’m as lost as everyone else. I just hope the web hasn’t gotten so tangled that our demise is just a forgone conclusion. The world has gotten so complicated and dangerous it’s amazing anything gets done. Maybe our intelligent machine successors will have to sort it all out one day.

Peace...

The absolute worst presidential choice in history has already been made. It is not Hillary Clinton , Bernie Sanders or Donald Trump.
The worst choice for president was Obama
So you really cant blame it on the politicians the blame lies with the fools who elect them.

Are we arguing which is better? You have to realize this does not include his UHC tax.

Here's the source article: Bernie Sanders Releases Tax Plan, Nation's Rich Recoil In Horror

The comparison does include his UHC plan.

And despite what the nation’s late-night talk show hosts might have you think, Sanders wouldn’t use the extra cash to get the nation’s youth a decent haircut and some damn pants that fit; rather, the tax windfall would be used to pay for a federally-administered, single-payer healthcare plan.

I've been hearing a lot about how Sanders wants to give everything away 'for free' with no plan to pay for it. He has a plan, it's taxes and I'm OK with that.

If it's a brokered Republican convention, I suspect the choice will be Romney / Rubio.

And you thought the choices were bad now.

Always makes me laugh when people say Obama was the worst President in History. The facts just don't support this.

People easily forget Hoover, Wilson, Ford, Carter and several other candidates.

I remember when Republicans used to think FDR was by far the worst. They even went out of their way to ensure that US Presidents had term limits after his Presidency.

Only a truly fact free person would think Obama has been bad for America.

Obama NEVER should have been elected as a US Senator, HE WAS NOT QUALAFIED!
He had NO military experience, he had NO police experience, NO city council experience, NO experience as Mayor, No experience as Governor.
He did run for Congress–but failed.
He was a U.S. Senator for a VERY short time, however, he NEVER authored a bill, he NEVER voted for, or against one either.
He only ever voted “present.” He couldn’t even take the time to study an issue and make a decision as to whether or not an issue brought before the senate for a vote would be a good thing, or a bad thing for his constituents. “PRESENT.” It’s shameful, really!
How does a man with his lack of experience, get elected to the highest office in the land–in the world?
We are throwing away another golden opportunity to hold them ALL accountable.....
Most everyone will ignore the heart of the problem, the Congress and become caught up in the presidential circus. www.kickthemallout.com...

A viable third party will start the day a candidate can appeal to the broad base of browned off voters. It really is that simple.

It's really only a matter of time.
