How did you first discover AboveTopSecret?

There was an advertisement on Coast to Coast AM.
ATS looked simple, like a spreadsheet.

I think this is the third time I have answered this question here.
My son was an active member back in 2009.I was checking this
site out to make sure he wasn't posting anything that would have
the FBI pounding on our front door looking for him.I liked what I was
seeing and joined that same day.

I had actually stumbled upon a GLP post about some weird magnetic pole anomaly or something and thought I'd join them. Of course I got banned pretty soon after calling out some racism and wondered if there was a site like it but maybe a bit more enlightened and less... backwards.

I found Above Top Secret on a list (I think I literally googled "better than godlike productions") and several sites popped up. I liked the layout and adored the color scheme right away and then read a few threads, enough to see that it wasn't all right-leaning and that was enough for me to participate.

And now... it has become my #1 procrastination tool.

I would research different aspects of 9/11 truth and a lot of the searches lead me to ATS.

I thought some of the posts were great while others got me scratching my head.

But it wasnt until the Rand Paul Senatorial race that I joined.

Love this place. Its one of my "online homes".

Being new here though brings me knowledge that someday I will create the ultimate thread. For now I have nothing really to contribute. I have only idea's at this juncture.

Don't say ultimate, that implies nothing afterwards. Don't limit yourself like that...

Unless, of course, you mean so ultimate the interwebs blow up trying to handle it. In which case, we'll have to call on Al Gore to repair it.

A birdy told me about ATS. It stopped by and talked a bit on it's way by with it's big flying nest. I don't know where it got the materials to build that big nest and I didn't know they could melt metals but the bird told me I could find out all about that subject on ATS.

He lied to me, nobody here ever talks about birds in flying metal nests.

I don't really remember what I was searching for, but it had to be something mysterious or paranormal or intriguing. I had never been to such a huge site with so many people and fascinating topics. I was hooked ever since. Now I live here and have my own room and on one thread I even have my own realm. How cool is that? LOL

I was reading about some kid that did some FOIA requests about UFOs and ended up on ATS. It has an interesting element within it. Lots of partisan left right duopoly BS but that is everywhere. The site owner seems pretty tolerant but takes no crap and I respect that.

It was around 10 years ago... My young 13 year old self happened upon it while looking for material on UFOs and Aliens, among other mysterious phenomena. This was way back when ATS was still using the Black and Green theme, which I much adored. I spent hours reading threads on the site... It's safe to say that I had been a Non-member Lurker on ATS until 2013, when I actually made an account for myself.

I was told I could make $9600/week by replying to online discussions in negative connotations about the terrible USA and favorably about the homeland! The People's Republic of K.....

I was looking for something on moon towers, and I clicked a link that led me to forums of all sorts of subject matter. Hello Rabbit-hole! ATS has been a great way to subjectively look at things, and refine my opinions over the years on so many different topics.

A few years back, I was sitting home reading a book when I heard an odd scratching at the door. I opened the door and found ATS there, shivering and hungry.

I gave it a bath and a warm bowl of milk and we've been together ever since.

I didn't find ATS it found me- That's how the Matrix Algorithms and AI works and that was in 1997.
