Way back in 2007 I was headed to Australia on my own for 6 months of travel, and somewhere along the 50 hours of plane riding (Yes... 50...) I managed to stumble across a totally unheard of, low budget movie, by a director no one has ever heard of, "Transformers" by Michael Bay. Somewhere within that movie a character asked if a particular mission was "top secret" and another character stated "No, it's Above Top Secret".

The phrase "above top secret" resonated in my for quite some time, and I wondered if anything was really classified as "above top secret". Eventually, within my travels, I found myself momentarily ill, and coincidentally next to a public computer. I took the opportunity to message family and post photos, and of course, I searched the phrase "Above Top Secret".

The first thing that comes up is www.AboveTopSecret.com and I was a bit taken by the find. I wasn't expecting to find much material, and here I was, opening a realm of doom porn, advanced military technology, people claiming aliens are going to attack earth at [insert date], and some nosy person named Phage always trying to post his cold, dead facts everywhere he could. (Just kidding, I am way older than him on this forum, and therefore totally way better
)

It wasn't long before I filled my journal, not with travel experiences, but a massive collection of conspiracies. I literally filled a 100 page book, back to front, with nothing but topics and concepts from Above Top Secret.

Ever since then I've been hooked, never able to catch the dragon that is the mysticism of Nibiru, the Illuminati, Aliens, Gods, and so on.

So, how did you discover AboveTopSecret?

I was at the license branch waiting for my number to be called and bored out of my mind. I got out my phone, which had limited internet capabilities, and started looking up alternative news sites. ATS popped up. It wouldn't load all the way because of my cheap phone but I did see a list of things covered here. It interested me enough to look it up when I finally got home. I've been here since.

a reply to: Ghost147 I googled for alternative news on some company I loathe, probably Monsanto or Dow Chemical, and ATS came up. Then I started checking Fragile Earth every day...

Telemarketer.

I kid, but really I found this site after 9/11. Because Something felt wrong that day and afterwards, and now I know something IS wrong.

My paradigm has never been the same, thankfully!

Loose Change is what brought me here. Looked up something like "9/11 was an inside job" after watching it and ATS was one of the top links. I lurked for a while and finally decided to sign up, I haven't looked back since.

Summer of 08 I heard on some morning radio show the crew making fun of Blossom Goodchild and her channelings claiming huge alien motherships to appear in October of that year.

I was intrigued by the story, even though it was being ridiculed by the radio crew. So I googled "blossom Goodchild", and on the first page of results was a thread on Above Top Secret. I clicked and started reading it. The thread was allready pretty long, and the prediction was a few months off from fullfillment, or failure,
but I was hooked.

I posted for a while under the "anonymous" tag, but decided at some point to make an account. I kinda miss the anon thing sometimes though.

In my eight years here I have learned a lot. Mostly I've learned how little I know about things in general.

ATS has changed a bit since then. Become a bit more commercial, a bit more pedantic maybe at times. And a bit less tolerant of fringe thoughts.

Still the best game in town though.

Yup, I remember Blossom. She was an interesting 'one of the first' experiences here on ATS. I believe I even started a topic on the prediction back in the day.

A couple of friends over at Stormfront recommended ATS, I'm glad they did. It's fantastic to find other like minded individuals who are willing to make America great again.

A few years ago I was investigating the Multiverse, alternate realities, different timelines, etc. Came across a few google results that led me here. A different ATS thread, front page google, for each thing I was searching for. I decided to visit and haven't left!

I discovered it while searching something strange on google, and i've never left. Yeah i've taken some time away, mainly because i work so much i shouldn't be as broke as i am. But i love the freedom of info here. Plus it's nice to be able to talk about the truly weird stuff that you can't in a normal setting.

I remember when I was 18-19 years old I watched the first edition of "Loose Change".. that movie initially rocked my world and had me questioning so many conspiracy type events, which led me to researching the events, which ultimately brought me to ATS, a community I'm very happy to engage with and be a part of!

I started researching the massive bird deaths in Arkansas that happened on New Years Day 2011. My research led me to the ATS forum where it was being discussed.

Over time as I continued to research alternative theories, ATS kept popping up in the search engines. So I joined the site to be able to discuss some of those ideas.

It's been an interesting journey...

It was five years ago and I can't actually remember. My opening post was about "Gravitation's Propagation Speed" as I was wondering why relativistic effects when calculated into some orbital mechanics didn't give accepted answers (close but not exact).

I was unsure if it was just laziness on the part of others (assuming instantaneous action) or if space-time topological curvature propagated faster than light (which made no sense, relativistically).

Ahh .. Funny ..Yet so true.

On-topic -- I enjoy reading the --mostly-- civilized debate/discussion that goes down here, concerning everything from politics to paranormal

Missing persons articles/posts brought me here as an observer a couple of years back, entertaining material if you're in need of some cheap ( read: free) reads.

Let's see...

I first found ATS when I was looking for info on 9/11... Read it, then lost the site for a while... Found it again, lurked for a year or so, then joined in 2005, and I've been here nearly daily ever since.
