All organizations are made up of people, people with the same interests and same goals, which the group of people, as an organization, can forward.

Understandably by nature some people will differ, but by joining the group, you are giving tacit approval to the various things which that group forwards and supports.

It is well known that not even the FBI will work with CAIR anymore due to their ties to terrorist organizations. All their leaders have been named, in trial, to which their was no denying, as having said ties.

Join CAIR, and you are giving your tacit approval of those things which CAIR supports, whether or not you personally have the same ties.

CAIR co-founder Omar Ahmad once told a Fremont, California audience: "Islam isn't in America to be equal to any other faith, but to become dominant. The Koran … should be the highest authority in America, and Islam the only accepted religion on Earth."

In a similar spirit, co-founder Ibrahim Hooper told a reporter: “I wouldn’t want to create the impression that I wouldn’t like the government of the United States to be Islamic sometime in the future.” In 2003 Hooper stated that if Muslims ever become a majority in the United States, they will likely seek to replace the U.S. Constitution with Islamic law, which they deem superior to man-made law.

In September 2003, CAIR's former Community Affairs Director, Bassem Khafagi, pled guilty to three federal counts of bank and visa fraud and agreed to be deported to Egypt. Federal investigators said that a group Khafagi founded, the Islamic Assembly of North America, had funneled money to activities supporting terrorism and had published material advocating suicide attacks against the United States. Khafagi’s illegal activities took place while he was employed by CAIR.

Randall Todd Royer, who served as a communications specialist and civil rights coordinator for CAIR, trained with Lashkar-I-Taiba, an al Qaeda-tied Kashmir organization that is listed on the State Department's international terror list. He was also indicted on charges of conspiring to help al Qaeda and the Taliban battle American troops in Afghanistan. He later pled guilty to lesser firearm-related charges and was sentenced to twenty years in prison. Royer's illegal activities took place while he was employed by CAIR.

Anyone else want to tell us how Good these guys are????

That's funny.

Islamic law "isn't" man-made but the U.S. constitution is.

Irrelevant, none of that reasoning positively identifies everyone involved with CAIR as Muslim Brotherhood. Unless I see a source saying "such and such" has links to the MB, I could give a damn about any reasoning you give here.

I am highly doubtful you would ever see the Muslim Brotherhood be asked to join in a meeting with the Chinese, Koreans, Russians, etc...but with America? Sure, why not? Afterall...Obama is still speculated to be a Muslim.

Krazy, why are you being such a cyber bully? Can you not respond in a civilized manner? Our new member was just testing the waters on their thirst for knowledge...but I will admit any claims made on an organization should really be backed up with factual articles...

What the saddest part of this thread is would be the fact you do not care who is coming to the SOTU address but what the title of the thread is. You simply write it all off as conspiracy but do not want to look at the facts.

There are clear links to the Muslim Brotherhood and CAIR as well as Hamas. This would be like saying that Iran does not support any terror organizations.

It apologizes for terrorist groups but does not denounce Hamas and Hezbollah as terrorist groups as well as how CAIR denounces the acts of violence but not their sponsors.

At least seven board members or staff at CAIR have been arrested, denied entry to the U.S., or were indicted on or pled guilty to (or were convicted of) terrorist charges: Siraj Wahhaj, Bassem Khafagi, Randall (“Ismail”) Royer, Ghassan Elashi, Rabih Haddad, Muthanna Al-Hanooti, and Nabil Sadoun.

There are many organizations such as ISIS, Illuminati, political establishments, Pharma, etc...that have other intentions in mind and not all of them are made up of "good people"

So rather than just generalization all organizations forwarding on their agendas may not be a good argument for CAIR. I would revise you argument by giving examples of governments can work with specific organizations to better the world view on such a subject matter.

I am sure you are going to hear one of two things:

1) Krazy will have none of that and your post will be removed
2) Staff will remove your post because it does not pertain to the topic thread, rather an inappropriate 'attack' on an ATS member
3) Nothing done and more debate will circle about to see if the Democrats have a hidden agenda for inviting CAIR to the address

Yes, indeed - by people who believe in idiotic conspiracy theories. There's no evidence whatsoever. He's been President for almost eight years now and they're babbling away with their nonsense. Why? I have no frickin' idea!

Brother, ATS members have a right to post views on conspiracy theories...it does not make them an idiot in any way the same as any theory presented to be idiotic. That is what makes ATS what it is. It is ignorance by those who do not come out to disprove or approve that a conspiracy theory exists and make something of it. Don't believe me, then go join another site and move on.

Azeez’s bio also reveals him as a founding member the Council on American Islamic Relations (CAIR) Dallas/Fort Worth Chapter. CAIR has also allegedly funneled money to Palestinian terror groups and was also started by members of the Muslim Brotherhood.

In October, 2014, Azeez signed a letter endorsing Sharia Islamic governance. Under the Sharia, non-Muslims are treated as second-class citizens. The Sharia also endorses the hudud punishments in the Koran and Hadiths, which state that apostasy from Islam is punishable by death.

Hoda Elshishtawy of the Muslim Public Affairs Council (MPAC) was also in attendance at the Muslim leaders’ meeting with President Obama.

MPAC, just like CAIR and ISNA, was founded by members of the Muslim Brotherhood. The group has written and often endorsed a paper rejecting the United States’s designation of Hezbollah and Hamas as terrorist organizations, and has insisted that the Jewish state of Israel be added as a state sponsor of terrorism. The group’s former president, Salam al-Marayati, has publicly encouraged officials to look at Israel as a suspect in the 9/11/01 attacks.

He has said that Hezbollah’s attacks against Israel should be seen as “legitimate resistance.” In a 1998 speech at the National Press Club, an MPAC senior official described the Lebanese terrorist group Hezbollah as one that fights for “American values.” In an MPAC-sponsored March 2009 protest to “Defend al-Aqsa Mosque and al-Quds,” participants could be heard chanting slogans encouraging Palestinians to wipe out Israel. “From the river to the sea, Palestine will be free. From the river to the sea, Palestine will be free,” demonstrators chanted.

Mohamed Majid, who serves as Imam of the All Dulles Area Muslim Society (ADAMS), was also in attendance at the White House meeting with the President, and senior advisors Ben Rhodes and Valerie Jarrett.

They have already been to the White House. This is just a public setting now. If you think that there are not people overseas smiling at this tonight...well..keep that head in the sand.

So what I am learning here is that if an organization has some shady characters that means everyone who is involved with it must also be just as shady.

Wonder if it wasn't the CAIR if this would be the thought process.

www.investigativeproject.org...

List of names from one court case. Some of those names are in the CAIR organization as well as the entire organization itself, including the head of the Dallas chapter.

CAIR declared as a designated terrorist organization by the UAE: www.wam.ae...

^^^ that is actually very important, kind of bad when Muslim countries see you as a terrorist organization.
