I heard about this children's book on a video called 10 inappropriate Children's books that actually exist. This story was actually written for kids. It's really funny, if you like that sort of thing. Anywho, I'm sure that many of you parents will be able to sympathize. Just don't read it to your kids.

Warning: As if you haven't guessed from the title, the language here is rough.

Here is the video I learned about Go the F*** to Sleep from. Some of these make me shake my head. I think my favorite is Cooking with Pooh. Say that title out loud. Yeah, somebody wasn't thinking.

It is a kids' book but it's marketed/meant more as a gift to the parents at showers and that sort of thing.

That said, we have had a string of three or four days where we've been having those "go the "f" to sleep" moments with our kiddo these past days. I guess he inherited the weather sensitivity from his mom.

That said, it has a companion book now:

I'm actually thinking of getting it for my brother and sister in law. They're expecting in April.
ETA: Nice companion book. They'd like that too lol.

Definitely geared at parents as a novelty item, not for kids. I've read it, it's funny as hell because it's so easy to relate to XD

When it first debuted, it caused a huuuge rift in my circle of buds. As expected, the Victorian prudes of the bunch thought it was utterly inappropriate, and offensive (lmao) despite the obvious adult market target. Needless to say, there was much butthurt on their part while the rest of us had a great time poking fun at them with the book.

Sadly, you'll have those stick in the mud types who just don't get it.

Agreed; although, Christopher Walken would be interesting.
ETA: George Carlin or Sam Kinnison would have been great, if they were still alive that is.

I know. Those are the people whom you wonder if they EVER find anything humorous.

Maybe they could con Walken into reading the companion book.

But... but... but... I'm not tired yet!

It's a piece of art, I guess. Now go back to sleep, sheople! Nothing to see here. It's all good, nothing ever happened. Ya know the trade.
