It's such a complex threat in that we just don't know where or when they'll strike.
It's definitely terrifying but we also foil lots and lots of these plots and we're getting better.

I mean we'll end up with no freedoms whatsoever but no more terrorism!!

And we'd maybe have to be more tolerant and less archaic towards minor "crimes"

Terrorism will just take a new form. Domestic terrorism will be the new phrase. Anyone after their once held freedoms will be labeled the new domestic terrorist.

Merkel better be paying attention to how many of these people being arrested are Syrian refugees. If Belgium starts going too deep into the rabbit hole, it might force another cell to act before being caught or found out.

No it hasn't, just the same terrorist groups doing what they do. Now if the was evidence that a major super power had something to do with it. As in funding or supplying and training then I would say maybe.

Well, you know they will not go after Saudi Arabia or the UAE the great financiers ... So maybe they will use this as an excuse to step up their efforts to oust Assad... Stupid as that sounds that has been their goal all along... IMO it would be better to join with Assad and Russia to exterminate ISIS... but unfortunately that ISIS cat is already out of the bag and is spreading all over Europe if France is any indicator... That is what cancer does infects a few and then spreads to the whole body and radical/Islam/ ISIS is a 21st century cancer that as of present there has not been found a cure..

Stupid as that sounds that has been their goal all along...

Collectively, the G-20 have stated that Syria's loyalists and rebels have to agree to a total CEASE-FIRE and go to the table to talk.

ANYONE participating in active firing or military assault after that cease-fire takes effect will then be considered terrorists and everyone will go after them.

I am sorry to say, but this NEEDS to be a war. They have already declared it on us, we just haven't responded with enough force. We need a coalition of allies, like we had in WW II to liberate the middle east from this insanity once and for all. Even if it means conquering the whole region and rebuilding its society. Its a war that's already started and the sooner we realize it and engage them the better off everyone will be.
