Then, pump a super cooled liquid into each of these pipes. This would freeze the ground around the pit so hard, it would block any water flow. Then, dig it all up. Sounds expensive but do-able.

Maybe the people that created this maze buried something very important there. Maybe their thought process was to build something so complex that technology would have to catch up with it. When we created the proper tech to discover the treasure, we win the "prize"....

It's driving me nuts they won't just excavate 10x and the Money Pit and just go for it!!
The assumption is the bottom of the pit was dry, until the builders installed the flood tunnels as booby traps, these tunnels are verified.
