Hmm, why we didn't keep troops in Iraq??? We see the results of that 'reasoning' now, don't we.....

Because they didn't want us there!

We can't just force our troops onto sovereign nations.

No the Iranian friendly Iraqi regime didn't. That would be the Shia Iraqis.

Darth Cheney is an idiot. Maybe he would understand better as to why we didn't keep troops in Iraq had he bother to read the agreement his boss signed that stated when our troops would leave Iraq.

Guess ole Biden, and Obama shouldn't have taken credit for Iraq.

After all it is one of the admin's 'greatest' success's!.

Biden Once Called Iraq One of Obama's 'Great Achievements'

I do so love how the current administration is never responsible for anything.

It's ALWAYS someone elses fault.

we left Iraq because they wouldn't let us stay unless we agreed to let our troops be held accountable to their legal system for any crimes they were accused of committing....

would you have rathered our troops be held to a legal system outside of our military justice?

That is about getting them home there neo.

So yes it was Bushes fault we got in there, Obama brought us back based on the stay of force agreement set by Bush as well.

Did he? Bet ya anything we are still there. How about our Heroin epidemic in the US? Grant you it is Afghanistan but same region and YES, we have a heroin epidemic in the US currently. Not necessarily Obama's fault but you would be disingenuous to play politics and say our current heroin problem in the states is solely Bushes fault?

Exclusive: DEA chief says heroin ‘back with a vengeance,’ drugs a national security threat

So it isn't entirely Bushes fault as you claim, because Obama has used it to his and others advantage just as much?

Is Cheney the pot or the kettle. Typical blame game, It's all the fault of the person who has to clean it up.

No it is both their faults on afgahn and the heroin.
I won't say barry's hands are clean of Iraq either. Just he isn't to blame solely for it all.

And ya we still have some troops there, we don't like to leave once we occupy somewhere. Which from a pure military stand point makes sense.

Well we were at war.... do you not consider that a bad state of affairs?

Obama had the pleasure of dealing with the void that war left, he didn't start it but was left with the job of cleaning it up.

Whatever happened to the "Personal Responsibility" conservatives love to brag about? They started the whole mess in the Middle East, so as far as I'm concerned it's their fault... and Dick Cheney should be forced to house some of these refugees himself

Six years to fix an area that has been war torn for decades.

Seems like an easy fix.

I could fix it in two.

I'm genuinely curious if you believe that. If so lay out your plans. I'm assuming nukes are involved.

Hell we could solve the human problem in 6 months if that's how we solved problems.

Why in God's name would nukes be involved? You sound like an insane person.

Prove it ?

Aw shucks guess I am here to spoon feed people.

he fall of Saddam Hussein in 2003 sparked a new era in Iran-Iraq relations. Ties between the two states had been severely damaged by the Iran-Iraq War from 1980-1988, but since 2003, Iran has seized on the fractured political and vulnerable security situation in Iraq and has worked vigorously to extend its economic and political reach using both diplomatic and military means. U.S. officials have on several occasions presented evidence that Iran has provided, and continues to provide, arms, munitions, training, and direction to Shi’ite militias in Iraq. In 2007,

www.irantracker.org...

Now guess what ?

That boon to Iraq,Iran relations was ALL made possible by cutting, and running.

Iraqi officials have expressed support for Iran’s right to a peaceful nuclear program but have stated their opposition to Iran developing nuclear weapons. Iraq has also called on Iran to comply with its obligations under the Non-Proliferation Treaty and to cooperate with the International Atomic Energy Agency.

Woulda lookie there!

Iraqi 'officials' opening advocating for a NUCLEAR Iran!

All made possible by again cutting, and running from Iraq.

Wasn't Bush's fault.

Congress gave him approval to go to war.

Funny that some of them people that GAVE him approval became two secretary of states, and a vice president a few years later.

Did you read what you posted? They don't want them to make the bomb but are for them to use if for energy.

We didn't cut and run, we didn't have their authority to stay.

Bush was the president, he gets the blame.
That is how it works no? Or do is it ok to shift the blame with bush.

Funny how that works.

When it comes to the national debt it's Obama's fault only

When it comes to 2 endless wars that have costed trillions it's everybody's fault!

I guess personal responsibility means you're only responsible when it benefits your political party
