Can't change timezone and strange sign up date.

Hi Guys,

Can I ask if anyone else is having trouble, or had trouble and fixed trying to change their timezone in account settings? I've been trying everyday for a week, but it just won't save to my settings. Apparently I'm in Baghdad. Wondered if it's the same for everyone?

And something strange is also going on with my sign up date as well.

Not trying to be insulting, did you hit the "submit" button under the time zone setting? i know i have missed it before.

I'm not insulted at all. Yes, I tried that. Many times. Just won't save it at all.

I dont think the site compensates for the spring and winter equinox times changes. a reply to: MissBeck

It currently says I am in Baghdad , Moscow but when I select the London option it just doesn't save it when I press submit.

Oh well, no biggie. Just annoying because I know it's wrong.

I know exactly what you mean, same problem as you, I choose gmt uk but it saves as Baghdad too, fiddling around I found that if I choose gmt -1 (azores,cape verde) and hit submit, it will save as gmt (london)

I don't know, it must be a bug or something,
although it's only a temporary fix for me, it goes back to gmt +3 after a few sessions,

I'm just a couple of counties down from you and also could not choose GMT and gave up.

I assumed it was a glitch that could not be mended, it gets a little confusing at times.

Mine says Rangoon.

Germany isn't in Rangoon.Someone would have noticed.

I gave up trying to change it.

Yes I also have this problem.

I have tried so many times to get the correct time thing. I gave up.

I have not tried for a while so I'm going to try it again now, knowing my luck it works this time.

Mine says Chicago, when I'm closer to New York. Not really a big deal, just odd.

Thanks for the tip! You're right, it does save as London. I'll see how long it lasts! Thankyou.
