What will happen to Christianity when we finally confirm ET?

This person doesn't have any idea what atheism means. In a different thread this member said atheists worship Satan. I pointed out Satan is a deity and therefore those people couldn't be atheists. Made no difference. "atheism" for this member is a catchall word for anything and everything he/she doesn't like. Liberalism = atheism. Communism = atheism. Et cetera. It's absurd. Probably a troll account though.

Fair enough, I joined to correct people on scripture not sway beliefs either way. If you choose to be a cynic/ sceptic over scripture that is your choice and I cannot begin to discuss that.

Personally, I think if you believe in God (or a god) you probably should assume there is other life in the universe. I doubt God made the entire universe, added one planet where he put mankind, animals, plants, etc., and then looked around and said, "Nailed it!"

Religion adapts.

I am of the belief that if there is a man written creed outside the bible that you adhere to , then you are probably practicing religion .I once went to apply to take a college coarse at a Baptist College but looked at the faith statement and couldn't agree . We see in the Bible that in order to hold church or come together as a church you need 2 or more people .That is it .

Thanks .I wonder if the fallen angels that took women for wives and created the Nephlim were ever locked up after the flood because they were also after the flood .It's a interesting subject though .

I'm gonna have to disagree with your assertion that atheism is communism. I believe you're confusing communism with Marxism.
Assholes are everywhere by the way, and they come in many different flavors... American exceptionalists can be just as bad as atheists too.

Well for centuries Christians thought the earth was the centre of the universe. I have talked to a few Christians who believe that earth is the only planet that has life. I also belonged to a sect of Christianity that believed that the universe was made by god for humans to populate after Armageddon. So if ET came to earth I think it would shatter a lot of peoples faith.
Anybody remember the movie signs with Mel Gibson as priest and ET comes to earth his faith was shattered for awhile then he gained it back again.
