So there is always speculation happening between members on weather or someone is a shill or a spy or whatnot so i think we should MAKE AVAILABLE a vetting process for members that WISH to validate their existence.

I know it sounds crazy and the most paranoid among us will scoff at the idea. Couchsurfing.com has an amazing referral and referencing system that we can use as a muse to create our own.

I'm not afraid of anything and I'm in for total accountability.

Yes. 100 times yes.

But...

WISH to validate their existence.

As in are they a real human?

That's where this will fall flat imo.

I think the suspicious in our midst are actually real...
& therefore can validate their existence.

As opposed to bots!

You seem very eager to put yourself outthere.

I don't think many will share your desire.

The purpose of this website is for members to talk to each other, not about each other.

Just my personal opinion.

But there are some posters who's posts are so single minded and post so often that it raises questions.

www.abovetopsecret.com...

Nothing like that could take place here, could it??????

I'm certain it does.

However, as long as they do not contravene the T&C's, they have every right to comment as they wish.

All ATS ever asked of it's members is a valid email address and to post to the T&C. Peer reviews are against the spirit of ATS imo.

The name thread seemed like a straight up phishing attempt-I can see why it is against the rules.

On the finding the spies/shills topic-I guess it's up to the owner.

I wouldn't doubt, though, that the owner/owners more than likely already considered finding out if there were like paid posters, paid political activists, etc.

Maybe they already have-I would.

Isn't this sort of the definition of the self-destructive in fighting and intrigue so cherished as a tool of the elite to discombobulate the masses?

It kind of makes it easier for people that like to make multiple accounts to either agree with themselves or to make multiple reports on single comments that they don't agree with.

I however do agree with KISS-"Keep it simple St...." (For people like me that aren't computer geniuses)

I'm hated on this site as it is so I don't give a # either way...our words should be the deciding factor so I'm happy for the anonymity, but there will always be those who star n flag folk just coz they are mates.

My personal opinion is, I think the mods do a fairly good job and are quick to remove threads and members that continuously break the T&C's, so I don't think this is needed.

ATS is a fair reflection of society, you have all sorts posting and just because they have a different opinion to ones own, why should they be treated as suspicious?
