Ken Ham, Creationist junk bond king, now says that we should stop exploring space for aliens because:

1. They're probably not there or
2. If they are there they're going to Hell

www.huffingtonpost.com...

"And I do believe there can’t be other intelligent beings in outer space because of the meaning of the gospel. You see, the Bible makes it clear that Adam’s sin affected the whole universe. This means that any aliens would also be affected by Adam’s sin, but because they are not Adam’s descendants, they can’t have salvation."

Ham's retort:

The challenge I made months ago to debate anyone on this board about Creationism and evolution is still open. Any takers??

Agreeing. Thing about Churchianity that cracks me up is their insistence that any/all spirit activity is of the devil.

Old power trip to keep control over seekers. Only look to the church for guidance… be sure to "donate" when the plate comes around.

if you believe that aliens don`t exist then you`ll never find aliens because everything new that you discover can`t be an alien because aliens don`t exist.

Example: if I believe that grass doesn`t exist then that green stuff growing all over my yard can`t be grass because grass doesn``t exist.

I kind of liked this response at the end of his post ." So, “is there intelligent life in outer space?” After reading the Huffington Post article and the other items on secular websites responding to my article, my answer is this: “there doesn’t seem to be much intelligent life left here on earth—let alone to find any in outer space!” Made me chuckle :>) a reply to: Phantom423

What, not everyone believes that they are the sole inheritors of an entire galaxy created by an all powerful being who conjured us into existence?
Obviously if there are aliens, they're going to this place called "hell" because they don't follow strict (insert correct religion here) ways

I'd love to hear the point of view on all this insanity from the point of view a being who grew up in another galaxy.

How can one truly debate when one is standing on the ground while the other is at the bottom of a deep well and can only hear the reverberations of 2000 years of intense preaching and myopic research into one and only one book?

Such are the views that keep the secrets of the UFOs/ETs on the back burners of governments not only in the Western world but especially in those places where religion is paramount in the lives of the people to the extent that they will gladly kill, with the blessings of their religion and leaders, those that disagree.

I know it is mind-number for some of you to think that the level of strong religious adherents across the entire world must be reduced to a far lower level before word can be released that UFOs/ETS exist. Otherwise, chaos is destined, a new dark ages of war and conflict will cover the earth and at the root of it is nothing more than a simple truth of the Universe.

This is news to me!

WOW, this is pretty self centered thinking to consider that what happens here on earth, in myth or in reality, is mirrored in all universal life, except the "salvation" part. LOL

And the debate will continue until we hear from the Aliens or God..... I do believe strongly that we will have contact with Alien beings before the advent of the return of Christ. So I'm taking the ARRIVAL before RETURN view. Can't really debate the issue as 2000 years of propaganda clearly clouds the minds of some who ignore basic physics.

I don't think Ken Ham believes what Ken Ham is saying. He's either a shill, or looking to be the big hero, so he can continue living off the backs of other Christians. He certainly loves the limelight.

And that, ladies and gentlemen, is why the MSM has absolutely zero credibility.

Huffington Post is nothing more than a left-wing propaganda rag.

HuffPo, as it is sometimes called, has evolved from a simple news aggregator into one of the most sophisticated propaganda operations the world has ever seen. The site was started by political chameleon Arianna Huffington, who used to be conservative before she discovered it was far more lucrative to be liberal.

Add it all up and Huffington Post is the most popular and up-to-date propaganda tool around. It’s light years ahead of the pro-war posters of WWI or Tokyo Rose of WWII and puts communist state propaganda to shame.

Propaganda.com -- Huffington Post Has a Party and It's Democratic

If you try to post anything that goes against their ultra Liberal agenda they won't post it. I've had it, I'll never go there again. Huffington post is the most vile one sided news site you will find on the internet. Enough!! The Huffington post is a propaganda network. Not unlike CNN, MSNBC, ABC, and yes, even FOX. All advocates of the NWO and the Zionist agenda.

A little history here, folks. Huffy Puffy was a 100% Liberal BLOG before they partnered with AOL. AOL is supposed to stand for America On Line, not Democrat On Line, which is what it has become since HP became its "News"

Does anyone else find Huffington Post to be Liberal to the extreme?

The level of mainstream acceptance The Huffington Post has achieved to deliver its leftist message is virtually unmatched and something that would cause any propaganda shop to salivate.

HuffPo will link to almost anything that sends eyeballs to the site, from a story about Octomom’s new-found career in porn to cute puppy or kitten pictures. One memorable headline alerted readers that: “Jennifer Aniston Bares Chest, Talks Body In Allure (PHOTOS).” Partially clothed celebs are another HuffPo hallmark.

Huffington’s Hollywood connections also made the site home to every Left Coast liberal you can think of—Alec Baldwin, John Cusack, Deepak Chopra, Sean Penn and onetime comedian Bill Maher, to name just a few. Most opinion posts push a lefty agenda, and everything is designed to drive traffic.

The Huffington Post: The Left's Cocaine - Elisabeth Meinecke

Very one-sided news! Huff. Post has always been extremely biased in their news reporting. It is alarming to have a mainstream news agency (Huff. Report ) become a tool of the anti-American radical left wing elements of our nation. Very Clear, Very Biased Agenda, I consider myself a liberal but when I read the stories on Huff Post their agenda is screaming out.

As a man who considers himself more conservative, I have often wondered what the HuffPost is all about. It is, to little surprise, little more than articles taking swings at the GOP and Tea Party and videos of Bill Maher or Bill Nye taking swings at Christianity and Conservatives.

Do you think that the Huffington Post is offensive and racially biased?

I think I've seen this before. Ken Ham is an idiot, but hey at least he's got the rationalizations for reality that conflicts with his beliefs down pat.

The egos on these people must be enormous. To think god created humans specially in his image and that the entire universe was made strictly for one planet with life on it out of millions of planets. People just have a desire to be special. It's an emotional thing and it satisfies their ego. Too bad it's a load of crap.

Phantom, please ignore this guy. He will not "debate" you. He will deny all evidence without explanation regardless of how many links you post that prove him wrong. We've tried it many times. He doesn't debate, he flat out denies and then insists he is right. He has never once ever addressed the actual evidence behind evolution, he just makes a lot of statements that can't be verified or backed up by anything, you're just supposed to take his word on it. I don't think he even knows what a 'debate' is because any counter point against him gets ignored. That's the status quo for creationists on here.

Christianity most likely has alien origins. Remember, Jesus was beamed up into the sky? By whom? A sacred light, the power of God, cast back into heaven. People of that day would see technology as magic, godlike creations. However, with a lot of abduction experiences, people where ''beamed'' up too, with light and all. Seems awfully familiar. People of that day could describe alien craft as flying chariots or ships, considering they didn't have much else to compare it to. Just like we compare UFO's and flying saucers to spacecraft, because that comes to our mind, for we have seen that image before. We perceive it as a flying saucer, for we cannot see what we don't know. You have to remember, everything can seem an illusion. The mind will try to make an image out of something of which it cannot make an image out of by comparing it to things seen before.

If the story of Jesus was true, and if he wasn't just another enlightened and wise human, than I think he was an alien/alien hybrid, put on earth by greys (God & Angels). For what reason? I don't know. We cannot perceive and look into the consciousness of these alien beings. For how can a chimpanzee look into and understand the human mind?

OR, and just go with me on this, the whole book is just a bunch of exaggerations from people retelling stories from decades before at the minimum to entire generations removed for others. Have you ever played the telephone game before?

This is most likely (partly) the case. But where did it originate from? It is my believe that it either originates from psychedelics (aka ayahuasca, mushrooms, '___', etcetera) and alien abductions (en.wikipedia.org...)

I think that both have to do with each other. Shamans and priests use psychedelics to connect to higher powers and entities. Maybe aliens even fabricated psychedelics for communicating with them on a totally different level. A lot of people describe a welcoming feeling and enlightenment when they use '___', the most powerful hallucinogenic known to mankind. Weird thing is, this psychedelic is a natural neurotransmitter in ourselves, and it is in thousands of other animals and plants.

EDIT: why ban the abbreviation of dimethyltryptamine? It is the same as banning the word melatonine, or serotonine. Makes no sense at all.
