I have to disagree with Canada being the most polite, at least from my own personal experience.
When I was aroun 8 years old my dad took me to see the Peace Gardens (on North Dakota and Manitoba border). We travelled up to Brandon, Manitoba to spend the following night. While my dad was in the hotel getting a room a man being pushed in a wheelchair came up to our car window and told my older brother he was going to kill his wife and kids.
After getting the room and parking, that guy in the wheelchair was alone in the parking lot yelling at us to give him a push. We didn't.
Never been back.
That's Walter. Just ignore him.
Holy crap I haven't laughed so hard at an ATS post since I signed up. Brilliant
As for the OP, it drives me nuts when Canadians use the war of 1812 as an excuse to gloat. First of all, the Brittish fought that war, since there was no "Canada" at the time. So technically, the Britt's burned down the whitehouse, not Canada. Besides, in a modern conflict the U.S would wipe the floor with us.

I'm not really sure why we're talking about this though,

I want to visit Quebec City. I heard it's like a little Europe, which I like! I miss Europe a lot...but it will be kinda hard moving there...so Canada seems more realistic for me.

QC is one of the most beautiful towns in Canada. Even in winter. The winter carnival starts at the end of Jan. I think. I hear it's amazing. I've only seen it in summer.

I'd like to visit there in the winter time and also during the 'Just for Laughs' festival.
That's Montreal. An AWESOME party town. Totally different from QC.

There is so many different places I'd love to visit in Canada.
I wish we had free education too.
That would be cool to have been born in Switzerland if your family hadn't moved. I know my Dad's side of the family immigrated from Germany in the late 1800's, well only one member, he came to North America for all the open lands and bought up a huge property and had a big farm. He even changed his last name to a more English sounding last name too.
