Damnit!

Crooked pictures - those drive me wonky as well. Even in public or in other peoples homes, I WILL straighten them. Symmetry matters. IT MATTERS!

Both mt parents have o c d in a big way , i used to go into my mothers and change all the pictures and furniture about years ago just to hear the screams when she got in from work , .

My father told me he redecorated the living room and put a new carpet down problem was it was the same 70 s brick paper and exactly the same kind of carpet , no wonder i turned to the dirty side

I have lived with women who hoovered 5 times a day and washed the soap i had enough man now i have had dishes soaking in the sink for 3 days

I don't care for symmetry, except as a study as it pertains to physics. A lamp on each end of a table? BLASPHEMY!

I have this annoying counting thing. It doesn't annoy anyone else but me, because I rarely do it verbally. Everything, every action (sparing a few) are counted, tallied. It is an absolutely worthless mental inclination and has yet to be of any value whatsoever in the 56 years I've been doing it. ........ Well, not sure if I did it in my early years...... so, 50. or 51. or 49. ... maybe 48. ...... or 47.

I walk a lot, and walking a trail yesterday, noticed that I'd counted my steps. So, I said to myself, "Just stop it!" ... "Just stop it! 2"........ Just stop it! 3.......

I have a thing with doors and locking them...and not being sure I locked them....and going back to check if I locked them....and then going back again because I don't remember if I locked them.

Sometimes, it happens with the stove....if I turned it off or not.

I have that door/lock thang too. My workaround is to say out loud when I lock up at night: "Back door, locked". "Front door, locked". Obsessive, I know, but things said aloud (at least for me) remain in memory, and I don't have to check it again.

I do this, too, even though I live in the middle of nowhere. I lived a long time in New Orleans, so I putitdown to that.
