Not too many conservatives probably watch MTV, so these ads are just preaching to a choir that won't vote anyway.

Actually I don't know any neo cons, most conservatives lean left from what I see.

What direction are these Tparty guys leaning?

www.youtube.com...

If this is the direction that conservatives are leaning, and apparently it is; I'll pass on that style of mean spirited behavior.

Try a different web browser then. They are definitely there.

I.E. and FireFox.

Something is screwy.

No links to Free Beacon or Breitbart either ?????

I thing Addicting Info changed the article.

Maybe some people are seeing a cached page?

There's no video either.

Yet we see the direct quote when the topic was opened.

I don't even know if it's played on MTV. Most people see it on the internet.

Do you see this sentence?

But of course, conservatives hate everything about it.

They're a few lines down from that. Do a search for Breitbart on the page.

If my mother were alive today she would have such culture shock, I am liberal socially except for one thing.

But I wont take a side, politicians are rotten.

Right Wing Freaks Out After New “Rock The Vote” Video Goes Viral (VIDEO)
Author: Randa Morris October 8, 2014 10:57 pm

Conservatives are having a virtual meltdown over the latest “Rock the Vote” video, featuring rapper Lil Jon, along with a cast of celebrities like Lena Dunham, Fred Armisen, Natasha Lyonne, Darren Criss, Ireland Baldwin, Whoopi Goldberg and more.

Lil Jon re-recorded his hit song “Turn Down For What” to create a midterm voting anthem that almost immediately went viral.

Here’s the video:

That’s an awesome video. It’s fun. It’s funny. Judging from how fast it went viral, I’d say it definitely appeals to voters and potential voters. That’s a good thing.

The goal of “Rock the Vote,” which has been around since the 1990’s, is to get young adults to participate in the political system. According to the organization’s website roughly 12,000 Americans turn 18, everyday.

In keeping with their goal of engaging new, young adult voters in politics, “Rock the Vote” ads feature popular music, well-known celebrities, and topics that young adults care about in order to get the message across.

Conservatives, on the other hand, keep showing that they cannot relate at all to young adult voters. They hate their clothes, their music, their celebrities and most of all, their big ideas about how to change the world and make it better. That’s why they work so hard to try to keep the younger generation from voting at all.

The fact is, midterm elections are generally decided by a majority of older, whiter voters. But this time things could be different. If younger voters do turn out in droves this November, they could change the course of history, and conservatives know it.
Help us get the word out!

It's actually not hard if you used common sense.

The video shows what actually happened...your article makes accusations without any proof to back them up.

I hate it when one political party gets upset at another over things like this. It's petty and shows immaturity and small mindness. Each party does what it does to get their candidates elected but this is dirty.

Well then they'll vote. They just won't vote for the platforms MTV is pushing.

To be honest, there is very little impartiality anymore.

It's "us" against "them". Divisive.

T'is the nature of the beast I'm afraid.

Not sure I lean any direction, I even think many liberals are more Conservative then they realize.

I'm an old hippy, how far right can I possibly be?

It's just that as I get older I get a little more conservative about certain issues.

Those test to determine your political bent say i am a socialist libertarian.

Yes it is divisive and it is high time we found common ground with one-another.

How can we begin to find common ground with this type of racist BS coming from AM radio from all sorts of people calling themselves "conservatives"

Even here...I have been called a "people like you"..... What do you think that means?

How could anyone not like this?

It encourages more people to vote. Tells them some reasons why they should vote. They couldn't get every issue in the world in there. It was good. I can't believe people are complaining about this. One valid way to change the status quo is to get more people to vote. The more people that vote the better it is for everyone. Especially in smaller local elections!

Republicans, should now come up with their own rock the vote campaign, right? With reasons why you should vote, just like these. "I vote because evolution is a scam." "I vote because I like pollution." "I vote because Jesus rode dinosaurs." "I vote because women are second class citizens." LOL They could have Rush Limbaugh and Ann Coulter in one booth. Ken ham in another. Ted Nugget could take the lead role. There we go.
