When things like Reproductive rights, workers rights, marriage equality, racial equality, climate awareness, immigration reform and women's rights are seen as liberal propaganda then you have problems.
Okay....
Reproductive rights: does the man have equal rights, compared to the woman?
Racial equality: we're all equal in the eyes of the law, aren't we?
Immigration reform: what's to reform? Immigrate legally, or stay at home.
Women's rights: isn't that... nah, it's not the same as above. I do agree that equal pay for equal work should be the norm.
Climate awareness? REALLY? There's no incontrovertible proof climate change is anthropogenic. You do realize, that in the 80's it was global cooling, in the 90's it was global warming, and now its simply climate change? They change the wording to suit the attitude. It was only a few hundred years ago, the climate was drastically different than it is now. You also realize, we are at the tail end of an ice age too, right? So what does that mean? Warmer temperatures, perhaps?

What I don't agree with is not having a job, parking my '91 Toyota next to a Cadillac, that that person gets benefits I am apparently not entitled to. Yep, I said it: "ENTITLED" to. I've spent 25 years paying to the system, and whoops... I had benefits until the Democrats shoveled ACA through... and the one with the Cadillac has no problems at all.

Bitter am I? ABSOLUTELY. Not once in those 25 years have I asked for anything, other than maybe a little unemployment insurance benefit. When I need help, that Cadillac gets over $1000, monthly, and I get denied. Where's the "fair" and "equitable" in that? Did I mention she didn't speak American English? Doesn't matter- some people are disadvantaged at birth, right?

I'll posit these last queries:

If everyone is equal, why are there different 'levels' with regards to committing capital crimes?

Murder is murder. What is the justification behind, substantiating, a white man killing a black, or vice-versa, or straight killing gay, with the perpetrator somehow receiving 'more' punishment because of those facts?

Why, after 25 years paying into the system, am I not allowed to receive help, yet the Cadillac and children who can't say much more other than "mi nombre es" and are afforded aid on the spot?

Therein lies the disconnect. And you're too smart (ignorant, insert other adjective here) to see it. I was born in California, as was my mother, and my grandfathers on both sides were Native American. I'm more native to the USA than ANY illegal immigrant, yet they are afforded more 'rights' than I.

The conservative attack on rock the vote isn't as idiotic as the liberal attack on the attack. Illicit voting practices are a real issue. And probably no one is innocent. But it is idiotic to say that it shouldn't be taken seriously. At least the conservatives addressed it as an issue.

Next Level Bull Stuff. Indeed.

We all know why conservatives don't like this video..it reminds the youth, women, minorities, and gays that they have a voice and to let it be heard.

The conservatives don't want these types of people to vote...because it would be game over..

Oh to have conservative values but be somewhat conflicted when it comes to how they try to bash marijuana and abortion. Tbh Id probably give it an A+ plus if they hadnt shown the gun in padlock everything else is 100 percent an important issue. We dont have a chance anymore fellow conservatives. Our messiahs have disengaged our youth. Might as well meet in the middle. You had your chance and screwed it up for my generationc by being so stiff and obviously racist to the minorities. Times are changing.

First off, Lena Dunham has a trainer??? I think she is being scammed..

Secondly, that is probably the worst voting video I have every seen. I wish I could have my 3:26 minutes back.

Talk about pandering.

Well, at least Lil John is getting some work. That sets my mind at ease.

I highly doubt someone who owns a Cadillac is getting government assistance. That is unless all their finances aren't on the up and up. And if they are on government assistance, then they will probably be having that Cadillac repossessed before long. Methinks you are exaggerating a bit there.

The conservatives have a rock solid base of supporters...
But to mount any type of viable campaign they need to attract a more moderate demographic of voters.

I'm starting to think the Right is so comfortable playing the victim role; they won't even attempt a PR campaign to try and lure the undecided into their fold. The GOP made a lame attempt with this video.

www.youtube.com...

The lefties on the other hand realize the value of social media to attract voters.

For the right to discount the new media approach to campaigning will be folly!

It's a matter of perception not reality when producing the package [lure] for votes. The times they are a changin...

The message of "Hope" still resonates with the young, women and minorities.

Toughguy crybabies ala Rush, that exemplify the rightwing approach is seen as silly.

I will watch the video when I can. I think the right resists social media and most of what's "progressive" and new... like technology. After all, Obama gets his daily briefings each and every day on his "tablet", but the right is trying to slam him for not ATTENDING the meetings personally... It's just not necessary anymore, people. He CAN be two places at once.

I don't think the right understands how serious their situation is... If more people vote, then the 30% who steadily support the right isn't going to be enough to carry them.

Of course he does. As equal as humanly possible. When men can get pregnant, they can have abortions, too. And you can bet the right would TOTALLY support it! Abortion wouldn't be a political issue at all if men could bear children.

Racial equality: we're all equal in the eyes of the law, aren't we?

Talk to the police who have been killing young black men right and left...

The Conservatives reaction is comical and they wonder why no would vote for them

I laughed at this one though.

Hillary

And Then we ask ourselves why there are so many youths on the street and dying for over doze. This is a joke that is why this country is dying because people like all of you

Are these the in famous Conservative women? i am surprised at there reaction rather then supporting this movement which i think its a good cause.

These Conservative women would rather support the military and support sending there children to die in a war zone. There goes that claim that they support "LIFE"

How can you support LIFE if your sending your children to the meat grinder?

Might be the straw that breaks the camels back either way it goes.
Armed citizens waking up and rising to the occasion.
I cant wait.
( I say that with just a tiny bit of sarcasm. Very small. )

Is anybody finding any sources for a "right" reaction to the video?

All I'm seeing is the "Addicting Info" story with no verifications.

Odd.

Addicting Info makes up a lot of things to get the gullible to believe anything.

There are links to the stories in the Addicting Info piece.

Here's what the Free Beacon has to say:

SHAME: Rock the Vote Propaganda Video Glamorizes Illicit Voting Practices
...
Dunham runs afoul of section 14284 of the election code, which states:
...
Millennials really are the worst generation.

And one of your favorites, Townhall

Nothing says voting for important policy issues like dancing in a leotard.
...
In a new ad from Rock the Vote, a non-profit and (supposedly) non-partisan organization that specializes in driving the youth vote, Dunham dances in a leotard while declaring she’s turning out for “reproductive rights.”
...
Hint: they’re not exactly conservative causes. Lil Jon is voting for “the legalization of marijuana,” Sophia Bush is voting for “women’s rights,” and Ireland Baldwin is voting for “global warming awareness.”
...
Instead of flaunting her sexuality, maybe Dunham should encourage young women to vote with their intellect. Women are more than their anatomy, but feminist celebrities like Dunham keep insisting that their sex's most important banner is access to birth control.

And you can always go to Free Republic and read through the responses to that thread. LOL
