How was this game so poorly rated? It came out in 2005 (I believe), and the graphics were on par with some of the better games at the time.

Whenever I play it, I lose hours to the mindless carnage of eating swimmers, other fish, and destroying boats.

Has anyone else played this game, either for a console, or for the PC, and if you have, what did you think of it?

Seriously, you get to play as the SHARK!

How did I not know that this existed? Who doesn't want to play as a shark?

I'm going to see if I can find a copy knocking around on the net. Do you know if the PC version has 360 controller support?

You could also try Primal Carnage...

You get to play as a dinosaur!

It's available on steam for 14.99

360 controller will work, but you'll have to play with the button assignments.

That's fine by me, I suck on an epic level at trying to play games with a keyboard and mouse.

Thanks for replying to me, I'll check it out!

i remember playing this for the ps2 at my friends house 9 years ago !

lunging onto the shore and eating everyone was so funny, i can't forget my face and sides hurting from laughing so hard.

what an amazing game. sad to see it got poor reviews. this simple but gory sandbox game easily surpasses any modern day title in my book.

pure unadulterated aquatic GTA.
the OG days :')

I have it on the PC, but have never really tried it out for more than 20 minutes.

I have a lot of games like that.
I just seem to hoard them now.

lol

It was a very cool game though,
just not enough time between all of the other things I have going on.

There you go! Retro is so much fun when it comes to games these days. Everything aims at realism, that they miss the point of playing.

One of my favourite games for PS2! There's really nothing else like it. You are the monster. You are the predator. I especially enjoyed the abyss and the fish factory where you fight the colossal squid! Though the minefield part was tedious as all hell...

Would definitely love to see a next gen installment. The ending certainly left it open...

It was definitely a fun time kill...

I thought it was a fun game, and I rarely play video games.
