From Nevada to NM to Colorado...is it heating up? Will they keep coming? Of course they will.

Agenda 21 at work and it will keep working. All under the carefully planned "Protection" of wild life, wetlands, old growth, even a frickin tortoise (already proven to NOT be the case). Many still state that Agenda 21 is but another bit of Doom Porn but it seems that you are losing your fight every day. From conditioning of our kids, control of our foods to theft of our lands. Need more yet?

Sure they say that they will pay the couple but what if they don't want to sell? Because they don't.

www.naturalbuildingblog.com...
“Breckenridge, Colo. – “They’re spending us to death,” said landowner Andy Barrie.

He is not talking about property taxes, inflation or even the cost of skiing in glitzy ski country. Rather, he’s talking about the legal fight he and his wife have been waging to save their pristine piece of mountain property — with breathtaking views of Colorado’s high country — from being taken over by the county through eminent domain. Their battle is a unique test of private property rights. Unlike in countless other cases, where local governments have used those powers to seize land to make way for a road or some economic development project, Colorado’s Summit County is using eminent domain to go after the Barries’ land simply because officials want the open space.”

The couple's trouble started when the U.S. Forest Service took them to task for using a utility vehicle to drive from their main residence to their cabin. They say they never went off-road, and petitioned for the path to be declared a county road. The county, though, responded by trying to buy the Barries' higher-elevation property in order to protect and preserve it as open space. The Barries, who never had any plans to develop it, did not want to sell. That's when the county pulled their trump card.

More here: www.foxnews.com...

So another one on the way and if just one of these cases back down, what then? Very simple...Precedence. And that will mean that no one will stand a chance of a fight when they come to your door and demand the keys to your palace. No one.

The Barries have spent more than $75,000 to date. The mediation judge recently advised them the financial figure could double in the coming months. How many people can keep hitting back when they have to pay to play? Not many at all...unless of course you have bottomless pockets and who has that? Oh wait...

Peace

If the American people want to have even a chance to win against the overreach of the U.S. Government, they're going to have to be willing to rally to the side of the intended victims at a moment's notice.

I have no idea if our collective attention span can cope.

Well, I hope they get the same kind of response the rancher got. It is ridiculous that this can happen to people. It seems to be happening at an alarming pace too.

Agreed.

Because of the land space, more and more people have to be able to get to these spots immediately to stop the grabs.

If we keep publishing and spreading this perhaps more and more will start to realize just what it is they have to do before it comes to their door step.

A divide and conquer tactic perhaps?

Keep poking until the levee breaks and then...

Here we see the cold reality setting in. No matter how many people claim victory in the Bundy standoff the government can just keep hitting again and again and again, until any grassroots resistance is spread so thin that it is basically rendered useless. They are like a cat playing with a mouse right now.

As I posted above. Agreed.

Not a unique tactic but an effective one nonetheless.

"Look boss, let's not go the way of Nevada this time. No siree. This time let's shut all the interstates down, so no militia can get in, and we bring in C130's, Apache's, drones, 150,000 troops with two special forces teams, and have some tactical nukes on hand just in case. We'll take that property Sir. No problem."

These people I would support... in a heartbeat.

But these people, and others like them sadly wont get the attention they need, because others are too busy with the wrong thing to worry about the right thing.

But someone should start a fund for them... get a website started where people can read and hear their story and donate to the legal fund.

Easier terrain to attack as it's on a mountain this time with one road in and no way out if worked right.

Convenient.

It's OUR job to get them the attention they need. People are aware just not as informed as many of us on ATS. This is what we do.

Best way to help right now? Make it bigger!

What can we do? I mean it seems like we need to do something big to tell the damn government enough is enough. The only thing I can think of is militias need to become the norm again. That way, no matter where it happens, people in need of backup, can get that backup fast.

Even Ray Charles could see this is agenda 21.

Whatever it is, it needs to be done quickly.

I have a feeling that this is the time that many of us have been talking about for the last few years. Agenda 21 being put into play in full view of the public instead of behind the curtains because they no longer care who knows. It took too long for the masses to read the signs.

The changes that need to be made need to be made in Washington.

And they wont be made by keeping any republican or democrat in office that is currently in office. They needed fired... yesterday.

I agree....but

How do you propose to alter the status quo in Washington so no demb or repub get elected to a higher office?

When the corporations own the 2 parties, and can bribe, out spend and intimidate the 3 parties; nothing is going to change!

I don't think you have any idea how strong the corporate oligarchy really is; But you will see after the midterm elections are over.

I have to Disagree here. FED Political parties are all meshing to the point of being the same Devil in the seat no matter who holds it.

What needs to change is the people. Take back control at least on the State level. The FED is lost.

When the people control the State, they control the FED. One battle at a time is what will work. Or actually what could have. Now it will take an entire revolution to make a mark.

I once heard, when a man gives his wife the upper hand even once... he will never ever get the upper hand back. Never...

Same goes for the FED.. they wont relinquish control of what we have now effectively given them control over. They have to be fired... and replaced with people that will go back to enforcing states rights and upholding the constitution, and get rid of all these unconstitutional laws.

We didn't loose the states... we lost the feds... so going back to state level wont change what we have right now... we have to change what we lost... take back control of what we lost control of...

that IS the FED

Every single person need fired. all at once. every single one.

I am quite aware of the Corpratocracy of the US Govt. Who owns what and who pulls what strings.

This is why I state I am a person and not a platform nor a victim.

I have never believed that a coup on DC is the final answer but rather the first step only. The next step is taking the chair back for the people and having the majority supporting that step. There will be 2 armies then. One of corporate and one of the people.

The FED Govt. will be a non issue when the people succeed and have learned from their mistakes so as to get back to State control.

First step? Private Property.
