Yeah...not a coincidence.
I guess turnabout is fair play but if in fact they did get the idea and some of the information here, they should cite their source

They could be just nabbing pictures from google search. ATS threads appear there pretty quickly.
Still, it's possible they do it to ATS just as we do it to other news sites on a regular basis.

more likely they have a dedicated staffer scan ATS for stories. maybe springer needs to go after copyright infringement.

So what is Springer going to say? ATS stole those pictures first? Good work, kudos, and all that, but the pics are not ATS property. In theory, whoever took them originally could go after ATS for infringement. It's not gonna happen, but legally speaking be careful what you claim as yours.

Facebook "white poppy for peace" had this image on their site March 3rd. Slayer's post was March 7.

Well, as I stated.

ATS is more of a resource than you can imagine. Media types, screenwriters, novelists, filmmakers, etc all cruse the boards looking
for juicey tidbits and ideas.

if true, and they don't give credit, they have earned their own uncreative lives. Thieves and crooks seldom brag about where they got their loot from, but if other writers know this about someone else, what a shameful way of earning a living. If an idea strikes it rich, and it came from someone else, at least a finders fee should be paid. If not, common thieves.
