It's all metaphor for inner processes. For example, the lake of fire. Fire was never about burning souls eternally, its a term that means purification, refining the metal, throwing off the mud and distortions on the consciousness/light. And its done at the foot of the Lamb, in other words, Love is with us every step of the way. So after this life, perfect knowledge and shame for not getting how much Love we needed to preserve and shine into the world, or ever harming others, healing and refinement.

People aren't reading the passages with understanding and using the two Guides every soul has to weigh up meanings, ie. Love and Wisdom. We all have inner knowing.

Its all inner meanings, and metaphors.

I'm seriously thinking of starting an Akragon fan club. Seriously dude .... excellent post as always.
I'd love everyone to go back and reread it. Akragon nailed it.

Don't tell me you believe in the empty self-esteem movement?

Not that I'm aware of - but I don't know what it is. Never heard of it.

I did teach my children I would love them no matter what they did, ever. I did not take them to church or teach them to recite prayers or sing songs that implied - or worse, downright stated - that they were no-good losers who deserved hell.

Pluralism is a non-starter. It’s inherently self-defeating, contradictory and, frankly, just plain stupid. Pick your “ism” – be it progressivism, socialism, Hinduism, Buddhism, communism, Marxism, atheism, et al. – and central to each you will find the leavening lie of pluralism.

Quite a load of nonsense if you ask me. He lists off a number of religions and doctrines, and then says that pluralistic variety is a lie. This is how you contradict yourself in one sentence.
