U.F.O doesn't have to be aliens,it's just unidentified.

Wow, what a find I applaud you for even seeing that on there. It looks like it has some good potential, but I'd imagine most of the comments you're about to receive are going to say a bird or dirt on the lens.

I'd also caution you to use the word "expert" on this site and especially about this topic. None of the replies you're going to get could be considered to be from an expert in the subject and field of UFO's. Unless someone like Stanton Freidman is replying with his 40+ year of study in the field.

Sure many on here think and claim to be experts but that's laughable.

To me it looks like a fighter jet type aircraft in a bank. Now when was Airforce One flown over the city? Perhaps you recall that?
I would believe it would have some fighter jet escort and possibly this is a practice run before the event? IDK. Ok just googled it, was 2009 lol. Not that.

But it looks like a jet in a banking turn. I would imagine NYC is kinda a no fly zone but I bet there is a military base somewhere nearby. Any airshows in the area?

How can you tell it is far away?
It may only be 100 yards or less from the camera (somewhere between the camera and the buildings).

If the light was coming from the right, wouldn't the right side of the object be lit whether it was relatively close (say, for example 100 yards or 100 meters away; above the river) or if it was farther away (above or beyond the buildings)?

How far away are you assuming it is?
