In this one cliff face and below there are so many interesting things! it just kills me that we can't REALLY see it! Did you notice this "rock" with the two white stripes? I use a magnifying lense so I know not clear to everyone. The whole thing is an odd shape I guess they could be bands of a white mineral.



Now I know this won't interest many as it is so hard to see but in the foreground of your picture on the bottom left is a spot, it looks like the other dragonfly like thing I keep seeing with the clear wings except this one seems to be moving as it is blurred.

Hello, and greetings from Planet Earth. funbox and I wish you well, and peace between planets.

Well, maybe nobody has to tell us what kind of rock it is anymore.

I'm searching around on that ledge to see if anything else up there resembles it in any way, in the same spot. And it sure does look like a new addition with a face curled up like a dog or cat where nothing was lying about before (although that part is in shadow in the first pic and maybe it looks like something laying there when sunlit). Maybe you can do one of your super duper side-by-side gifs. Think anyone would mind if I open up a separate thread on this, it seems to have been missed even by the people posting here. I'll open one up and let the mods close it down if they'd like, it's the least we can do for our space brothers. You and I seem to make a good team, aye, and the Calvinball tourney continues with each participant scoring huge points and the giraffes wander the field looking for trees, and then finally give up and start munching on the cow leftovers.

EDIT: Does anyone have a logical explanation (wind, rain, sleet), or am I missing spotting it where it was and where funbox has discovered its wandered off too. And if we see it, NASA has to either know about this or are scratching their heads in "Huh?", or are out to lunch (literally). Peace, Earthlings.

funbox, ye co-discoverer or prime discoverer, or fellow who discovers, I mention on that new thread which I thought would be closed by now for copying off posts from this thread that yes, it should be here more than there. Just that people weren't commenting, and I don't know why your post about the blueit being missing was uncommented on, so I ran with the ball and now have passed it over to you to convince the unbelievers (or is it unbebiebers) that the thing is missing. Who's on first and what's on second may be on again (I don't know, on third).

me convincing anybody of anything would probably be a first, that's if I could , or even have the desire to do so, no in my experience people tend to er tend for themselves in that department, I can however use my trade to help illustrate what ever , rock/ P /alien / machine part /etc that people are talking about , when I can be arsed that is , its amazing how we see each others patterns tho..and of course having some fun along the way, never know might be a grain somewhere..most likely of sand tho, or blueit scat

You are a wise man. The last time I tried to convince anyone of anything I got a look of disdain for my troubles. A friend texted me about thirty minutes ago to see how things were going, and I told her about the sick dog eating a bit more, and such, and oh, by the way, might have just discovered life on Mars (literally). Last I heard from her.

I did a pic of the area where the thingy was, and the only thing I can see that's possibly it is the rock a bit behind there that looks like it has eyes and a mouth thing, but then when I glanced at my avatar I think I see that rock behind the blue thing, peeking up over its head. Does that make sense to you when you look at it? Gifs, gifs, jifs, and more gifs, please. Here's my pic, a portion of your new one:

"Where did he go ?" lol, great title. The answer? I dunno. Would be funny if he (or she, or do they have sexes on Mars?, maybe it divides like an amoeba) pops up right in the camera lens of the rover, or hitches a ride on top.

And just what is going on with the Rover, I thought it was going to roam towards Murray Buttes. It seems just to be wandering around in circles and semi-circles, taking in the sights (just like us).

Actually, in trying to look at it in your fast gif, maybe the original "right arm" portion was just a reflection, and the remaining "head" can be one of those rock formations seen closer than it actually is in optical illusion perspective.

Would it be hard to slow it down a bit, so a comparing look at them can be seen? Thanks. Life is a series of ups, downs, and roundabouts, or, in other words, life is a series of gifs.

This whole picture is full of mushroom like things...can you see them? they are on rocks and on the ground.
