Thanks

I hope you are fine too.
I couldn't type for a couple of days because our cat broke a couple of keys off my keyboard, and I had to get it replaced. This is the second time she's done this to my laptop.
I think it's her way of saying I spend too much time on it.

All good mate, just Ms. T's best mate got rear ended by a 4x4 at 110km/h after trying to miss a wayward kangaroo heading towards Brisbane. The car's beyond redemption, but apart from some soreness both occupants are ok. Just been a hectic couple days is all.

I'd like for you to have a go at the sig strip too, be interested to see your take from scratch mate.

Try and imagine one coming through the windscreen at you at 110km/h, it's even less fun, trust me on that lol.

As it's been clear nights up here (until a couple days ago), the little buggers like to sit on the blacktop after the sun goes down, which stays warm for them. Problem is you don't see the little turds till it's too late, and they like to hop in the direction of cars instead of away off the road to safety which makes it a double whammy usually.

They say over here you aren't a true Australian till you've crossed paths with Skippy.

True as !

Hay plains at night = overworked sphincter !

Tucked in behind a semi one night - only to have the bogie rear wheels flick a roo carcass over the roof of my car.

Bloody stupid are our kangaroos !

:-)

PS: Willing to share sig strip mate -

We used to have the same problem with snakes in Israel, the warm paths were a magnet for them.

One got the ex wife a while ago

Fortunately the ex survived but the poor old snake died. There's no justice

We get the snakes too, mostly during summer for the same reason, the warm roads. The funniest thing to see up here are the tree frogs and the cane toads, especially at night. They look like little lumps, but they hop across the road in front of you, particularly when it's been wet. Snakes just look strange, they look like a shadow on the road while they move. By far the strangest thing I ever saw was an echidna ambling along the side of the road once. It looks like a loofah going along slowly in the wind lol...

I think a monkey crossing the road would be weird to see though.

Ed: Your ex and mine have a lot in common. I think if she was ever bitten by a snake the poor thing would take a few days, then eventually die. The snake I mean....

Never tried the Hay plains at night, scary enough during the daytime.

Mile after mile of endless boring... nothing.

I had no idea powernaps were so useful till then.
