Thanks y'all! Sparkles Yaaaaaay! I have both of them uploaded to ATS and come Oct. 1st I am set for Halloween! Wow, I thought it was going to take a week or two, great work! Am not kidding about the stars, if there was a way I would pay y'all a million a piece.

I still "stalk" the thread but just don't create avys anymore really. I'll do my own once and awhile but thats mostly just changing the size.

awesome work! I was struggling with the coloring of the shoes! how did you do it? I know you all have photoshop and gimp, but I was using quite a few apps on iOS and my computer (that remains nameless haha) Pixlr editors mostly. Nothing satisfied me and it looked gaudy (gawdy?) lol.

I need to look into other editors and learn how to use things better...as if I need more! I hate the PC as my mouse is very pitiful when it comes to precision things and painting is not its strong suit.

It's always a pleasure to have someone else on board, dollukka is an outstanding artist in her own right, Gordi comes in and shows off occasionally (Gbro ) we have a pet big monkey somewhere but I seem to have misplaced him. Then there's Templar, RR, Ekta,r Zarni, Pheonix (bloody good author) and a whole array of others.

Oh Jeez is that the time already !!!!!!!!!!!

Why thank you Cody but truth to tell, all I do around here is make suggestions and try and get us some business.

Sometimes people even like my suggestions.

I think I have only ever put one Avatar up here and no one wanted it.

This is however a great place to hang out and I love the company.

The third book is with my son doing a final proof read. Will not be long. Send me a U2U with an email addy and you can get an early start.

Meanwhile, I finished another one. Just have to wait on editing.

I use one of the selection tools in Gimp (in this case freehand) to select the specific area to colour/enhance (...here, the shoes), and then use the colour tools to change the hue/saturation/contrast/brightness etc of the selcted area, until you get the correct shade.
