I'll say something I rarely say.

Yes.. A**** was a great storyteller.

But he "understood" some things that I don't talk about..
which I consider to be true.

I don't want to fan the flames of insanity that he caused..
so i wont' say which things.

I bet you didn't see this comment coming!

there were definitely some truths in his story and he knew allot about some more mundane black/gray aircraft projects.

he actually shared a photo he took on a RAF base of a triangle and the color of the lights and the separation/spacing was spot on and definitely did not match any known aircraft.

he actually said that the thing in the woods was an advanced ejection seat/life support pod for a pilot of a BBT and decided to land there because they had orders if a bailout happened they were to do it near a us nuclear base because the propulsion system apparently needed special handling as it was radioactive.

he said that they symbols that were written down were a form of shorthand to let the ground crew know the state of the system. and the BBT seen beaming lasers into various parts of the base was looking for the pod.

there are other details but if anyone is interested they can read it if they chose.

i found it interesting that a team of US specialists landed at the base shortly after.

if some of the RFI witnesses can be believed the AFOSI drugged and may be applied some MK-ULTRA techniques to hide or add parts to their memories to make the story something even stranger then the real story.

that version of the story is ALMOST more believable than most other explanations i have read.

Ah.

I find zero truth in any of that narrative.

It's other parts of his narrative, that he shared with me
via IM's that I view as having elements of truth.

Penniston's picture was triangular, no?

Not until 20 years later.

Here is what Halt says in his memo dated 13th Jan 1981

The object was described as being metallic in appearance and triangular in shape, approximately two to three meters across the base and approximately two meters high

This is the object that was allegedly drawn by Penniston for his witness statement. (Note : It is unsigned and undated and not on official USAF stationery).

20 years later this is the object Penniston revealed in his notebook. His note book was never shown publicly until SyFy's UFO Invasion at Rendlesham around the turn of the century.

There are other problems with Halt's memo. But the question is how did he obtain a description of a triangular object?

All the witness statements are compiled together here : www.therendleshamforestincident.com...

Can you tell me who mentions a triangle shape craft? So where did Halt get that description?

If witness statements are to be believed then a few people saw a large flying black triangle looking for something and was sending beams/laser come into the weapon storage areas.

Not the contemporary witness statements (see the post above to Kev). Certainly Halt has never claimed that a triangular craft beamed a laser into the WSA.

Another interesting little explanation of this even was offered by the user astr0 but I think he was just a super good storyteller

Have your read his explanation of this event?

Yep it sounded like sci-fi. Probably someone who had a long term interest/career in aerospace who fancied a bit of a wind up on here and was talking out of his A$$tro. But you never know do you?

That's a really great question... and I have no answer.

I can only speculate in 2 ways:

1) The Stargate Conspiracy people are still very active and are
pushing their pyramid scam to this day.

I think there is an element of truth to that.. those "Theosophy"
"adepts" will never stop pushing their disinfo.

2) It would seem that multiple other factions of humans wish
to push the nuts and bolts delusion for their own reasons..

I have to agree.. that first 'drawing' was a whole lot of nothing...

Ugh.

Thanks for clarifying this.

But that said.. there are tons of "BTUFO" sightings both long
before and long after RFI, in the UK and all over the world..

But why people want to BRAND RFI that way as well...

I can't say.

Or it really is "experiencer syndrome" drift 20 years on..

but that doesn't inspire confidence at all!

And the link is the formal Rendlesham web site created by webmaster Darren De Boy.

Interesting stuff Mirageman. So many questions so little time.

This is such a bold thing to say. Is there any truth to this statement as it keeps getting bantered around. I wonder?

"I've gone on record saying Rendlesham might be the turning point in history that leads to the explanation of the UFO phenomenon"
- Nick Pope, Directorate of Defence Security, Ministry of Defence

It's true that it "might be" yes. Nick might be eventually outed for his part in it too. Note I said he might be?

Hi mirageman. This is also a different drawing from an early documentary called 'UFO UK Military Base December 1980' on youtube.

The narrator says Penniston claims he drew this during his debriefing with Colonel Halt next morning. The picture is dated 27th 1980. Which would infer that Penniston was debriefed on Boxing Day morning and then called in again the following morning by Colonel Halt.

The witness statements were all collated by Colonel Halt 2nd 1981 (those that are dated anyway). Why is Penniston's original sketch nothing like this one and nowhere near as detailed?

The documentary looks like it was made in the mid 1990s. So there is plenty of time here where other things could have happened to pollute the case.

I'd suggest that anyone interested in these fine detaisl goes back to page 177 where much of the details of the first night and witness statements were discussed. There are numerous problems related to just the first night.

The contradictory statements and evidence seems to come from two people in the main. But I will leave it for everyone to judge for themselves.

You know there is one person who was walking around with a notebook full of symbols, codes and planatery alignments in the mid 80s and documented.

The same person I suspect the supplied the so called report on the RFI to Wendell Stephens.

RFI original investigator, Brenda Butler’s lodger.

David Daniels.

He showed the notebook to Ralph Noyes

Sorry Kev, it’s a part of the RFI and requires a knowledge of the history of the event.

Original investigator Brenda Butler ended up a with an alledgedly reptilian shape shifting alien who called himself David Daniels.

Daniels also approached Ralph Noyes and showed him a notebook of symbols and codes.

Daniels then approached Admiral of the Fleet Lord Hill Norton.

Daniels likely supplied the RFI report Doty claims to have seen.
