Merry, belated, Christmas. Meant to come to this page on Christmas day itself & wish everyone a merry Christmas as I was at work so I figured that qualifies as being alone on Christmas or close enough, then work got real busy & I did not get around to it.
I will work new years eve also so I will try & wish everyone a happy new year.

Happy ( early) New Years All !!!

I wont be able to hang with you fine folks tonight, I gotsta be a big boy and go to work tonight.
But still wanted to wish you all the best.

Says in a whispering voice " shhh its supposed to be a secret but I heard Nef is bringing bubbly and shots for all tonight, but you didnt hear me say it. " Resumes normal manly , not femine whatsoever almost over powering voice.

Have a safe and wonderful night !

A big hello to everyone here from a very hot Australia on this night, a few hours to the new year here.

I know many of you still have a day or more to go until 2014, but ours is just a few shy hours away.

What I'm looking forward to? Having my family reunited after three weeks of what I consider to be crippling suckiness. Friday is our day, and it has really felt like a huge part is just missing being so displaced away from both home and those that matter most.

I have my extended family here (and many superhero movies) to thank for keeping me sane. Thankfully we've had no injuries, no short haircuts and no early flights home in disgust this time, but the depression of separation is maddening at times, which hasn't helped what is supposed to be happy time of the year.

A big thankyou and a happy new years to you all my ATS friends.

Hi mate,

2 hour 25 minutes to go before 2014 and it is all quiet. Few parties here and there but I sit writing. Spoke too soon as some fireworks just scared the crap out of the dog!

Another year to look forward to as time marches steadily on as if to say, I'm immortal,
and your not sucker!

Have a good one!

P

Bad Haggis? No, never heard of them, but I've eaten a few. Thanks, I'll look them up, definitely.

Here's something for the bells at midnight:

OK, it's mid afternoon here in UK

As promised, back to show you lonesome dudes that you are not forgotten, as this thread is for you, alone at this time...

Well, as before, you are not alone, although this can be a time of deeper sadness than Xmas probably due to its closer connection to Nature and Mother Earth than the Christian Festival, which is now more about £&$&€'s than remembering the birth of Christ.

So, we begin to close the book on 2013 and open the first page of 2014.

ATS members are a good bunch from what I have seen and all will probably wish you on your own comfort or support in some way. Put yourselves on the thread don't remain silent.

A happier New Year to you.

I'm here too, and will likely be on and off throughout tonight.

I don't really celebrate New Year. It is, after all, simply another day - however it can be seen as a cathartic event and that's mainly how I view it. Simply starting over.

So for those who are there all ready, Happy New Year. For those who aren't there yet, I hope you can enjoy your evening - whatever you are doing.

A buddy of mine just recently broke up with a highly testy fiance. Having regained his man card, he's taking us all out for a night at the club, assuming less scrupulous acquaintances don't screw it up. But if it doesn't happen, I can't miss what I never had. Holidays are getting to be a drag for me anyway.

I don't see how that's at all helpful.

AN old year ends as ANU 1 starts
keep in mind ALL those around you
who keep beats in your HEARTS...

Look at the past 12 has anything changed?
Consider your goals and achievements
your losses and gains.

Focus now ahead and project
what it is you wish to achieve.
Why remembering DEEP within
your TRUE wants & NEEDS.

As your SOUL is now vibrating
on a more positive FREQUENCY
Manifests with belief in yourself
what you SEEk from REALITY...

As a Reminder 1 shares @ times "we" all may experience loneliness but are not alone for "we" are ALL parts of CREATION making up the WHOLE*

Wishing everyone a Safe HAPPY NEW YEAR
