Tell you what. What would you think of a thread showing logical, seriously discussed, arguments FOR the existence of God? Not proofs, there's no such thing, just arguments. Would that be of any use, or would it just degenerate into another screaming match?


That would require the existence of God to be logical. Good luck with that. You may as well teach fish to sing in the opera. Or sell inflatable dartboards. Or install a screen door on a submarine.

Heh. We'll see if his answer is any different. Now, if we're talking about the NECESSITY of theism in society...hmm, there could be something to argue in favor of it. I won't deny the benefits of having a god to look up to in underdeveloped nations.
