One aspect of weather pollution in the atmosphere is the generation of contrails. The spreading out of jet contrails into extensive cirrus sheets is a familiar sight. Often, when persistent conditions exist from 25,000 to 40,000 ft, several long contrails increase in number and gradually merge into an almost solid interlaced sheet.

Unless a time machine has been invented, it seems as if Yes, the actually did look like that when you were a kid. You just don't remember.

It's fine to not remember, but to then learn that you were wrong and persist in denying that they could have been there is a bit dishonest.

That was 1970. the chemtrail problem really got underway during the nineties. Have you seen this U.S. Patent 5003186? Assigned to Hughes Aircraft Company on March 26, 1991. The idea is to add aluminum oxide to jet fuel and fight global warming. That was the stated purpose. I'm sure there are other purposes as well as other metals they're using, such as thorium oxide, barium and strontium. Please read the patent and you'll see that the global warming fanatics are also connected to chemtrails.

BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION

"This invention relates to a method for the reduction of global warming resulting from the greenhouse effect, and in particular to a method which involves the seeding of the earth's stratosphere with Welsbach-like materials.

Global warming has been a great concern of many environmental scientists. Scientists believe that the greenhouse effect is responsible for global warming. Greatly increased amounts of heat-trapping gases have been generated since the Industrial Revolution. These gases, such as CO.sub.2, CFC, and methane, accumulate in the atmosphere and allow sunlight to stream in freely but block heat from escaping (greenhouse effect). These gases are relatively transparent to sunshine but absorb strongly the long-wavelength infrared radiation released by the earth.

Most current approaches to reduce global warming are to restrict the release of various greenhouse gases, such as CO.sub.2, CFC, and methane. These imply the need to establish new regulations and the need to monitor various gases and to enforce the regulations.

One proposed solution to the problem of global warming involves the seeding of the atmosphere with metallic particles. One technique proposed to seed the metallic particles was to add the tiny particles to the fuel of jet airliners, so that the particles would be emitted from the jet engine exhaust while the airliner was at its cruising altitude. While this method would increase the reflection of visible light incident from space, the metallic particles would trap the long wavelength blackbody radiation released from the earth. This could result in net increase in global warming.

It is therefore an object of the present invention to provide a method for reduction of global warming due to the greenhouse effect which permits heat to escape through the atmosphere."

It's been a lot more than "one paper". There has not been one bit of actual proof that chemtrails exist. Lots of patents, that prove nothing, and a lot of "Just look! You'll SEE the difference!"

Oh, so now you're going to say that contrails are chemtrails.

All those patents, the noaa reports that talk about the metallic debris particles in the atmosphere and say we need more of them to help fight climate change, and all these particles showing up on the ground and in the water, but instead of dealing with these FACTS lets argue over chem/contrails. It doesn't matter what the delivery system is, the geoengineering is reality.

Although the OP engaged in a bait and switch. I can honestly say ' they ' were not around when I was growing up. I'm currently 65. Flew commercially for ten years and have been a sky watcher as far back as I can remember. Airliners also did not leave 'contrails' in checker board or figure eight patterns in the sky.
I'm not going to debate the issue. This is simply MY experience.

Talk about missing the point ! The OP has found a paper that proves that the assertion that "contrails did not look like that when I was a child and thus today's contrails cannot be contrails" is clearly totally wrong. Those who say such things have poor memories. Now if I state that I remember contrails as a child looking the same as they do today the "believer" will state it is my memory that is false. That paper written in 1970 proves myself and people with memories like mine are correct and those with chemtrail beliefs are wrong, on this point. This is hard evidence that means the "look" of the contrail is NOT proof it's a chemtrail.

Given that the "look" of the contrail is the most common reason put forward as proof of a chemtrail the argument is looking even thinner now like the wisp of a thinning cloud......or a contrail

Then why did someone in 1915 report seeing a contrail that spread out to become cloud cover? Were they already spraying us back then? Or in WWII, or the 1960s, 1970s, or 1980s. I thought they didn't start spraying us until the 1990s.
