Only thing I don't understand... why next wednesday? It is not supposed to be back up until 2015, last I heard.

AHHHHHHH .... so they pulled up something from years ago and slapped todays date on it?
I guess that explains why I thought I was on an alternate time line or something.

No, I don't think that's the case -- like I said, many newspapers' web sites automatically put today's date at the top of the article, not the day that the article was published, so I'm guessing that if you go look at it tomorrow, it will have tomorrow's date on it.

In other words, wrong, but not intentionally so.

If the Higher self is not bound by time & space maybe some will blink here and there in the current present and future and alter

NO they didn't slap todays date on it. that is just the website date stamp that is on every page.

Problem is the archived article in incomplete. Normally they gave the jounalists name and date of publishing, but in this cases its missing.

The only one who dragged this up, is the OP sorry to say

It wont be turned back on until 2015 = FAIL

NOPE. Just looking at stories and this came up. I wasn't intentionally looking for LHC stories or LHC doom. Like I said in the opening post ... I thought all this happened years ago and so I asked if I was on an alternate time line or something.

This weeks' doom porn for those who like to be uptight ... and also for those who like to say 'I told you so' when nothing happens ... take note of Wednesday October 16, 2013. We could all be sucked into a hole of nothingness. Okay ATS, we are on 'failure watch' for 10/16/13 .... (and yes, I'm sure nothing will happen)

Yeah. My bad. I read your post, but still made the comment. My post was to educate about the LHS upgrade. I should have left the last part out.

They have been increasing the power for the LHC incrementally. Here is a link outlining some of the past upgrades.
