I'm getting the "prepper bug".
I wanted to get a machete or hatchet.
After looking at an emptied shelf of knives and gear in the sporting goods section at (swallows lump in throat) Walmart. (The only place to shop in my
town by the way.
I went with the Camillus Carnivore. It was actually the most versatile machete they had. I was contemplating the gerber but the Carnivore took the
A Titanium bonded 440 stainless steel blade.
A sheath that seems to be constructed quite well.
Multiple capabilities including;
Although it was manufactured in China
it has a lifetime warranty.
The handle seems to be constructed pretty good and is pretty comfortable to hold.
It has a little weight but overall it seems to be pretty good.
It's cost was right at $30.
I did a search to see if anyone had any info on it and nothing showed up, so sorry if this has been covered already.
Does anyone have any information on the Carnivore?
I am making it a point to spend a few dollars every payday to prep. It may be a little late but every little bit counts right.
