In the midst of the debate over funding Obamacare and the government John Kerry has gone behind America’s back to sign the UN Small Arms Treaty.
This is serious threat to American sovereignty. If you buy a foreign weapon, such as Sig Sauer from Germany, your purchase would fall under this international, unconstitutional law. It is a small arm and in the government’s eyes, you may be a terrorist for simply buying a handgun. The government continues to make efforts to give guns to Syrian terrorists and block the ability of Americans to purchase guns as they please. The NRA has questioned the legitimacy of this law:
Your guns are in danger. Obama has stopped defending the Second Amendment. He did not get his gun control agenda passed in the Senate. So, he’s unconstitutionally trying to use the United Nations to control your guns. Don’t let him.
Obama is getting dangerously close to signing the United Nations Arms Trade Treaty. If he signs this treaty and the Senate ratifies it, the Second Amendment is toast. And your guns will be in the control of dictators around the world.
This sounds like a bad movie or a conspiracy theory, and I wish it were. But it’s real. 130 bipartisan members of Congress signed a letter that Rep. Mike Kelly wrote to President Obama and Secretary of State John Kerry.
A ‘National Control List’ Would Be Established
Article 5 of the Arms Trade Treaty creates a “National Control List.” Global leaders around the world who sign the treaty: “shall establish and maintain a national control system, including a national control list.”
Obama promised us he was not going to establish a national gun registry. “He's not seeking a registry,” White House Spokesman Josh Earnest told reporters on March 25, 2013.
In his twisted mind, Obama told the truth but not the whole truth. He didn’t want a national registry. He wanted a global registry. He wanted foreign governments to know whether you own a gun. That way, if you even think about jumping ship and leaving the United States to seek freedom elsewhere, there will effectively be an asterisk next to your name. Probably something like:
Name:Jimmy Brown
Criminal Activity:None
Gun Owner:Yes.
Notes:Watch out for this dude; he’s a duck hunter. He shoots lots of waterfowl in the fall. No criminal record. But, be alert. Could be a terrorist.

NOW HE HAS COMMITTED TREASON BY VIOLATING HIS OATH TO PROTECT THE CONSTITUTION.
The NCSI / CID is on the verge to arrest Obama on charges of planning a False Flag Nuclear attach in D.C.
Google it and be aware that the two charges will not be an Impeachable offence it will be prison...

It doesn't matter who or when the treaty is signed. Signing is not the same as ratifying. Ratification requires a 2/3 Senate majority. Not likely to happen.
The NRA has grossly misrepresented the provisions of the treaty.

Not likely to happen. Today, tomorrow perhaps. A few years down the road could be an entire different story (get 60 Democrat Senators and BINGO = RATIFIED) - seems like the anti 2nd Amendment crowd won today.
As to being misrepresented? Well, it doesn't stop people from owning, just potentially makes it very expensive to own one...and take a look at these nice parts:
Article 15
International Cooperation
5. States Parties shall, where jointly agreed and consistent with their national laws, afford one another the widest measure of assistance in investigations, prosecutions and judicial proceedings in relation to violations of national measures established pursuant to this Treaty.
Article 16
International Assistance
1.In implementing this Treaty, each State Party may seek assistance including legal or legislative assistance, institutional capacity-building, and technical, material or financial assistance. Such assistance may include stockpile management, disarmament, demobilization and reintegration programs, model legislation, and effective practices for implementation. Each Party State in a position to do so shall provide such assistance, upon request.
I will oppose the UN Arms Trade Treaty that Secretary Kerry signed today. The Second Amendment must never be subjected to an ‘international norm.’

You might find this a good read, get your cuppa and settle in MIT style on the study of the International Norm, dynamics and political change...

This treaty is about gun companies not the individual owners here in America. This treaty will not affect the American people.
