Mazower’s investigation of the Nazi search for a new international order, Nazi foreign policy, and geopolitics is meant to explain how the “rise and fall of a Nazi-dominated Europe” influenced the development of a new international order, replacing the “imperfect interwar hegemony of the British” with the “far more powerful global hegemony of the United States.” ...He is testing another hypothesis, focusing on the question of how Nazi ideas on shaping a New Order in Europe influenced the “visions of the management of international affairs.”
In such a perspective, the “period of the Nazi New Order in Europe”
...(It) had great relevance for the development of international institutions, especially the United Nations: for “the catalyst for their emergence was world war,” as before in the case of the League of Nations.
Serrano’s views have found credence, and expansion, with some in Germany and Austria. The Tempelhofgesellschaft in Vienna, a Gnostic based Christian movement, teaches that Jesus was not Jewish but Aryan and that according to their source, an Ancient Sumerian manuscript, Aryans came to Atlantis from the star Aldebaran and that this is where the Sumerian language derives.
It is the divine mission of the Aryan people to dominate all other races, and like Serrano, they claim that Antartica holds a secret fleet of UFOs, which will emerge with the arrival of the fleet which is on it’s way from Aldebaran. Then, the Western Imperium will be established.
“Hitler as possessed by the archetype of the collective Aryan unconsciousness...could not help obeying the commands of an inner voice...Hitler is a spiritual vessel, a demi-divinity; even better, a myth...the Messiah of Germany who teaches the virtue of the sword. The voice he hears is the collective unconsciousness of his race.”
Jung's interest in European mythology and folk psychology has led to accusations of Nazi sympathies, since they shared the same interest. He became, however, aware of the negative impact of these similarities:
Jung clearly identifies himself with the spirit of German Volkstumsbewegung throughout this period and well into the 1920s and 1930s, until the horrors of Nazism finally compelled him to reframe these neopagan metaphors in a negative light in his 1936 essay on Wotan.
There are writings showing that Jung's sympathies were against, rather than for, Nazism.[c] In his 1936 essay "Wotan", Jung described Germany as "infected" by "one man who is obviously 'possessed' ...", and as "rolling towards perdition", and wrote
... what a so-called Führer does with a mass movement can plainly be seen if we turn our eyes to the north or south of our country."
In retrospect, Jung himself thought he had slipped up in his dealings with National Socialism and his writings on a Jewish versus an Aryan psychology during the 1930s.
During the second world war, he also worked for the Office of Strategic Services, America's first intelligence agency, having been recruited by Allen Dulles, its Central European representative, who wrote about Jung's “deep antipathy to what Nazism and Fascism stood for”.
Jung's analysis, written in 1945, of how best to get the German population to accept defeat was read by many, including General Eisenhower. Ms Bair sets forth evidence on the various charges against Jung, on the whole coming down in his favour. But the overall picture that emerges is of a paradoxical man, capable of great sensitivity, who appears also to have been a self-centred, irascible bully.
Gehlen had always been under the sponsorship of US Army G-2 (intelligence), but he eventually succeeded in realizing his ambition of establishing an association with the Central Intelligence Agency (CIA), established in 1947.
The CIA kept close tabs on the Gehlen group. For many years during the Cold War, Org agents were the only eyes and ears of the CIA on the ground in the Soviet Bloc nations.
Every German POW returning from Soviet captivity to West Germany, between 1947 and 1955, was interviewed by Org agents. The Gehlen Org employed hundreds of ex-Nazi members and also had close contacts with East European émigré organizations. Unheralded tasks, such as observation of the operation of Soviet rail systems, airfields and ports were important functions of the Org, as was the infiltration of agents into the Baltic and Ukraine. The Org "Operation Bohemia" was a major counter-espionage success.
The Gehlen Organization was eventually compromised by East Germany, communist moles within itself and by communists and their sympathizers within the CIA and the British SIS (MI6), particularly Kim Philby.

but like someone posited earlier....what does it matter if it was 6 million or 2 million? Right...what does it matter.....at this point its too late for any information to make a difference anyway, any thing that was apt to be exploited by the holocaust would have been done by now.

I had an instructor once, who was of Polish extraction, and had lost several relatives to the death camps. He was lecturing us on the dangers inherent in a bureaucratic structure; where all functions are compartmentalized, and responsibility is diffused.
He had two major points, and would go red in the face explaining them:
1. A Hitler-centric view of the holocaust misses the larger truth: it required millions of complicit citizens to kill millions of innocents. And how few of those responsible ever felt the burden of their role in the perpetration of an unfathomably evil act.
2. The figure isn't six million dead, it is twelve million. The mass hatred spread to any group identified as "Other".

The breakdown of the economy was caused by the austerity measures caused by the war reparations that had be to paid in compensation for World War I, which in turn was funded by international bankers and the settlements decided by international bankers. Everyone became fed up of being in debt.
