I have been interest in the first fifty as well. Unfortunately I doubt he will hear anything about them, let alone accurate information.

This whole thing is a complete travesty, and all nuke plants all over the world should be shut down with immediate effect, We will have to chase our power sources some other way, This world belongs to ALL of us, and not just to some wealthy pea brained dim wits, who hunger for power and wealth,
It's time this planet was run by people for the people and if it were to happen we would all have a better quality of life, the only arms we need are the ones we use to hug
......... it's so embarassing to be a part of the human race, any other species would have been so much better.........

LOS ANGELES — Across the vast Pacific, the mighty bluefin tuna carried radioactive contamination that leaked from Japan's crippled nuclear plant to the shores of the United States 6,000 miles away — the first time a huge migrating fish has been shown to carry radioactivity such a distance.

Tuna carry Fukushima Japan quake radiation across Pacific to California

And

Trace radiation from the Fukushima nuclear disaster is showing up in Pacific bluefin tuna. By measuring that radiation, scientists are gaining valuable insight about the fish's early migratory habits.

...

Now, nearly two years after the plant discharged radioactive materials into the ocean, follow-up research led by a biology PhD candidate at Stanford finds that young Pacific bluefin tuna are still arriving in California carrying two of Fukushima's signature radioisotopes, cesium-134 and cesium-137.

Stanford scientist uses Fukushima radiation to reveal swimming secrets of Pacific bluefin tuna

Isn't that cute? They're using the radioactivity to track migratory habits...

Oh, I know the story calls these "trace amounts," but have you ever heard of bioaccumulatiion or are you aware the dosage rates are cumulative over a lifetime?

We will be seeing the effects of this for generations to come because the DNA damage done might not express itself until you've had chdren, or until those children have had children.

Not a real easy back trace hen, is it?

And the most stupidity of all this is that we are still continue using dangerous fuels to generate energy or drive our cars .. The time we learned that this was all wrong is the time where we meet mad max!

Tepco deserves some blame sure, but there has been a conspiracy since the disaster happened to keep the Fukishima Meltdown news on the down low. It is government agencies that ordered the blackout, not Tepco.

The average American does not even know that Fukishima melted down, they do not know that it is still leaking radioactive water into the Pacific, they do not know that elevated level of radiation are happened in the air and ocean of the West Coast of the US as a result of Fukishima. The reason why almost all headlines about Fukishima have contradicting statements and vague reporting of the facts is to not cause panic by the masses and to not cause economic fallout along with the radiation fallout.

Not so long ago, there was a sudden downpour that triggered a grid of nuclear radiation detectors in the USA? What was the response? To shut down the radiation detector system.

When radiation was detected in the food, what was the response? To raise safety levels of radiation in Japanese food.

Japenese population have resorted to maintaining their own radiation level monitoring system, because they don't trust their own government. I used to watch NHK-1, Japan's main news channel, and they had these scale models of the reactor plant. They'd laugh and giggle about how they were bringing in tankers to store the water, crews had cut the lawn, repainted the flagstones, had spring-cleaned the control room, and were now working on reconnecting the reactors to the control systems. Everything happy-happy and under control.

amazing that the Japanese people don't demand that the execs of TEPCO be imprisioned..."sorry" doesn't cut it....every exec should immediately have their pay cut down to the level of being able to pay their monthly household bills...all other pay, company profits, should all be funneled into solving this problem....TEPCO should have government agents and experts inside managing their day to day operations. the Japanese government should have their "all hands on deck" solving this problem, along with western countries helping. the domino effect of contaminated seafood to this worlds food system is massive....birds eat fish, fish are ground up for feed, fish are used in fertilizer cosmetics, medicines, mammals eat fish etc...this is a ticking time bomb....and there doesn't seems to be the urgency needed to stop it.

American's have significantly more freedoms than the japanese, and more inalienable rights - including an incredible armed militia, and we don't crap about anything either.

What exactly do you expect the Japanese to do that we don't do ourselves?

I know that I'm concern. What's does this says about our drinking water in the future?

Looking at foggy tap water is bad enough for me.
