A revolution doesn't have to be violent, it can be, and might have to be.

The fact that there is more empty foreclosed homes in the US than homeless people is a true testament to how backwards the systems have become.

The system is broken, we keep trying to fix it, but, no matter how much you polish a turd, its still a turd. We either need a new system or no system at all.

How about we get rid of any constitutions and just treat people with respect.

We were discussing, in another thread, the economy and what some of those root problems were. The loss of the gold standard, the devaluation of the dollar, the governments constant expenditures on war and conquering, spending more than we have and just printing up more indiscriminately....

on top of that we have peoples who would like to take advantage of this devaluation, bankers especially....corporations just jumped in last....

I specifically mentioned that little rhyme...

Wall Street gave the signal
And the country went to hell."

and Hoovers defense of the gold standard...

"Let no man tell you it could not be worse," he told one audience. "It could be so much worse that these days now, distressing as they are, would look like veritable prosperity."

This is where we are... at the fall of Rome, and people want corporations to pay, which will only drive inflation and unemployment higher.....thus making this vicious circle end at the only logical conclusion it can have it we dont do something to fix it....

One world economy wont help....... a one world government wont help.... and socialism wont help....

we need to face the fact our money is worth less than toilet paper.... and pay the price they didnt want to pay all those years ago...

temporary fixes on top of temporary fixes pushing the actual problem further into the future only hurts our children and grandchildren.....

Our grandparents and great grandparents couldnt see past their own time....

I'm glad the OP mentioned reality shows because they really gripe me.

We have a new generation raised on fake drama that they think is reality because it's called a reality show... not to mention all the "Jackass" wannabes who think vile disgusting things are funny.... and this is considered normal.

but oh HELL if you keep up with the news and current events and try to prepare for a rainy day.

Religion is not the only problem. I'm also skeptical of a lot things within religion. However, it's the people that need to come together and respect one another and themselves as well. Also we need to take care of the environment.

Not the only one, no, but a huge one. It teaches people to hate others that are unlike them.
