I dunno how many people on ATS have watched this guy, or how old the series is. I haven't had much in the way of television for years, and I still use mainly youtube for the watchings. Now I am finding that all the better stuff from our fringe friends "History Channel" have gone to H2, which is not standard with the cable I am with at this current location, and I have been finding programs on regular "History" that is debunking conspiracy theories like 9/11 and stuff now.

I call the regular "History Channel" the "Pawn Stars Channel," cause they play that MOST of the time, sometimes mixed in with a few tidbits of other things here and there, a lot of religious stuff too... Lol.... oh "History," you're so funny!

The video is Jesse Ventura's "Conspiracy Theory," on "Brain Invaders." He talks to people about the issues they have, and supposedly even confronts someone in power about it all. Seems to find there's a connection to alleged "targeted individuals" and the presence of old Cold War communications towers that use microwave frequencies... It was interesting is all...

If thoughts actually arise from genetic processes, which I know can't be proven, instead of just the mass in your head, then yes, DNA alterations would affect your thoughts.

Why do we consider genetic modification as a possible "cure" for the mentally ill if genetics doesn't have a role to play in not only how you think, but what you think too? Obviously, genetics do modulate what chemistry you're inclined to have in your brain, and it does affect your thinking patterns, otherwise certain mental illness would not seem to be inherited, which they are. We can argue the nature vs. nurture all you want... my mom was mentally ill, and out of 4 daughters, I inherited it, which correlates to the numbers I've been told at the chances this thing is inherited, about a 30% chance. My sisters all had the same unbringing as me, so shouldn't they all be crazy too if it's a matter of nurture that determines this?

Honestly, I don't think brainwashing/mind control is anything fancy. People are simply not that difficult to influence. They don't need anything too sophisticated like chips in the brain or chemicals in the water. All they have to do is teach children to trust anything that comes from certain sources.

The simple fact of the matter is that since the invention of one ubiquitous technology (television) you can see exactly how much society has changed. But also, school is a very effective way to start manipulating people.

Also, another mistake people make in thinking about mind control is that they think it happens overnight or in the blink of an eye. Like one minute a person is a strong individual with his/her own mind and the next, they're a completely different person.

No. It starts at birth and the changes are very subtle. People do not recognize brainwashing techniques because they are ever present. Our society is constantly being bombarded with mind control programing and it seems completely innocent because it never really changes that much. The messages they're sending out today are not all that different from the messages they were sending to you when you were in kindergarten. They merely build upon their past programing. Just like a computer program. They'd much rather rearrange the furniture than throw everything out and start over. That's too obvious.

I'm assuming when they said the project had nothing to do with magnetic stimulation they were only referring to phase I of the project, phase III wasn't set to start until next year.
