IRS employee union: We don’t want Obamacare

Now the union that represents IRS employees is talking out against ObamaCare !!!!

What a 180 turnaround.

The Union is circulating a form letter for members to send to their Congressmen.

WHY we ask ?

It must be a plan to have employees keep their current Federal plans.

If ObamaCare is so great, then make all Federal employees take the same heat as the rest of us !!!

IRS employees have a prominent role in Obamacare, but their union wants no part of the law.

National Treasury Employees Union officials are urging members to write their congressional representatives in opposition to receiving coverage through President Obama’s health care law.

The union leaders are providing members with a form letter to send to the congressmen that says “I am very concerned about legislation that has been introduced by Congressman Dave Camp to push federal employees out of the Federal Employees Health Benefits Program and into the insurance exchanges established under the Affordable Care Act.”

I can just see them being issued a waiver too. This Administration LOVES the "More for thee but none for me!" approach to policies they ram down our throats. No WAY should that even be considered, given IRS duties to go chase people down and clobber them for not following what THEY don't like themselves.

Well they should be more concerned about keeping their jobs.

If I were in charge everyone that works for the IRS would need a job.

We would be better to have a lock box for honest citizens to just put in what they owe.

You know i'm thinking too that Obama Care will cause tons of changes in how the IRS works. My wife was an H&R Block Tax professional for 5 years - they need to go through a very large course every year to keep up with changes in IRS laws. It's very daunting for them. The IRS employees themselves have to know so much more than a H&R Block Tax professional. There will be so many changes, this will cause them to have nightmares.

That's not exactly what's happening. OK, though, we'll go with that.

Oops...started a new thread on this after searching and not finding. So here is my rant:

So let me understand this...the IRS is charged with enforcing the "tax" if you don't have insurance next year. They will take your money, threaten, lock down your bank account and put a lien on your house if you don't pay. But they don't want anything to do with what they are in charge of forcing you to get? Is this any different than the "you are going to eat horse meat while I eat beef" mentality? Who in their right mind would believe all the bull$!@# about how wonderful Obamacare is, when no one in the government wants it...including the regime that will lock you up if you oppose it.

And how much is this going to cost me? And if I follow the real details, it doesn't cover millions that weren't covered...oh wait...yes it does...but it leaves a different group of millions uncovered instead. Or they have to pay, which they obviously can't afford now, to have it. Or get locked up. Or have your bank account locked down. Or have you paycheck attached.

What this is actually about is the democrats/liberals passing something...anything. It has nothing to do with putting something good in place, nothing to do with helping anyone (except for voters likely to vote for them). It is an "I did it first" win for the same people who wish to do nothing more than take everything you make and distribute back what they think you need...and decide who you get it from...and decided who will and won't profit from it.

Wake up people! This is the biggest attack on the people ever. What happened to the America I've know for 48 years? Since when have the people, the citizens of this country become nothing more than cattle. Oh yeah...I think I know.
