The video of this attack is about as disturbing a thing as I have seen.
I am sure their will be people here that somehow turn this into a "the cops did the same to X/Y/Z"
I am sure their are people here that will see this as fake because she had a camera.
I am not posting about that, the facts seem pretty cut and dried if you go on what has been reported.

This video is the very definition of what a coward is.
The street thug in it basically forced his way into a house a repeatedly assaulted a mother while her child watched. This waste of flesh punched and kicked the woman in the face and ended up by throwing her down the basement steps. He additionally stole items from the household as you see him moving up and down the steps.

I'm not sure what to say when i watch it other than the workings of a specific type of person will forever elude me. I have no sympathy for this criminal. He deserves no second chance. He deserves no redemption . He deserves a life of living on the womans side of this attack. Such a coward pretending to be a big bad tough guy.

It's a disturbing clip though not bloody in anyway , please be aware when watching it.

Doubting Thomas here:

1st- this looks more like a boyfriend beating than a home invasion, she's quiet and that's just a big red flag for me.
2nd-why'd Hubby have the camera up in the first place?
3rd-why didn't Mr. HomeInvasion take the camera? If its a nanny cam, please see above two statements

Anyone tell me this woman wouldn't have fared better if she had a firearm for protection.
Go ahead....say it's not her right to protect herself and her child from subhumans like this.
I expect the silence will be deafening from the gun control crowd.

wow....that's disgusting, although it could have easily been much worse, this video is mortifying. What kind of person beats unarmed non-resisting women and calls themselves a man? I bet he thinks he's real tough.

This is EXACTLY why you DONT EVER surrender your rights. Not one of them, not to anyone!

My prayers are for this lady and her family.

Because any of those things change the fact that the criminal in this video is a coward and deserves the full extent of the law to come down on him?

That doesn't negate the boyfriend theory.

Just first impressions.

Didn't see this, He can absolutely get his a$$ hauled off to jail. I give her kudos for throwing herself between him & the baby too.

Just intuition

thats immpossible to say without full context, how did he get in and how much time before this pos laid the boots to her?..looks like he could of just took it from her then who knows..im not at all against a person being able to defend them selves..world would be better off if she did ventilate him

As usual knee jerk reaction GIVE EVERYONE GUNS AND THIS WOULDN'T HAPPEN!

I'm pretty sure if she had a gun it was locked away with the kids being there (has anyone confirmed they didn't have a gun in the house?)

Instead of arming everyone with deadly weapons how about sorting out why the crimes are happening in the first place? I can almost guarantee that drugs were involved somewhere in here somewhere, whether the man takes drugs or wanted money for drugs or needed money to pay of drug dealers I bet drugs were involved.

But no ignore that and lets just start blasting people...
sorted.

Yea there are a plethora of factors that could go into such a self defense scenario, having a gun wouldn't have meant she had time to get to it, or fumble with it, when adrenaline is going mistakes happen especially when the person is nervous or scared. This video is atrocious he was throwing her around like a rag doll.

And whats to say that if she did have a gun that during the struggle she didn't blast her kid in the face?

It took me a full minute to even notice the small child sitting on the couch with their face covered. The man should be castrated and flayed alive for what this child had to witness alone. Don't get me started on what he deserves for what he did to the mother.
Such a cowardly ass**** to keep coming through and beating her more. The guy has power and abuse issues and should NEVER see the light of day again. JMHO on it....

I was thinking the same thing but I wasn't going to say it, when tensions are high, adrenaline is going, and people are scared for their lives, deadly mistakes happen.

And screaming for liberties is pretty much a kneejerk reaction like you said, theres a million ways that scenario could have played out but there is only one outcome.

You're right. As long as she knows how to use it. That's what it boils down to. Everyone should be permitted to have a firearm for home defense. It should be a human right in my opinion. So should the training required to know how, when and if to use it properly.

In Israel, everyone is taught Krav-Maga. In the U.S., everyone should be taught how to handle a firearm the correct way and instilled with the knowledge of how dangerous (and useful) such a tool can be from a very young age.

When I saw this on the news that's exactly what I said outloud "they don't know who this is? It's obviously her boyfriend."

Why have a nanny cam for a nanny when the woman is at home during the day? And you don't just leave a nanny cam running 24/7 for no reason, you only have it on when the nanny is around. Hence it's a nanny cam.

She probably got beat, her husband came home and she said she didn't know who it was even though she in all probability does.

But then why would they put it out on the news asking for public help in identifying the man? If it was her boyfriend wouldn't she just have shown the video to cops and then they take him away? It may have just been a stroke of luck..or divinity..that they forgot it was on. I don't understand the reasoning in asking the public for help if the guy was going to be back later though.
