If you are anything like me and probably millions of others around the World, you have often lain awake at night pondering over that age old question "What would happen if a truck carrying fireworks collided with a moose on the Trans Canada Highway?"

Well rest easy folks. No more sleepless nights because it's finally been answered for all of us!

Poor Moose...

news.nationalpost.com... e-sky/
A truck carrying fireworks hit a moose near Wawa, Ontario, early Friday morning, shutting down the Trans Canada Highway for five-and-a-half hours and creating an impressive fireworks display as the truck burned. At about 1 a.m. on Friday morning, a truck reportedly carrying goods for Purolator, including fireworks, struck a moose about 40 kilometres outside the town of Wawa. The fuel tanks on the truck ruptured causing a large blaze. The driver and a passenger in the truck were unharmed, the Wawa-news reported, though they escaped with just the clothes on their backs.

Only in Canada Eh?

Peace

How many people pulled up chairs to watch the light show?

This reminds me of my brother-in-law putting on a show for the family and shooting off fireworks in the backyard. He had a bucket of fireworks under a picnic table and he was setting them off on the table. We kept telling him you better move the bucket of fireworks, but he ignored our warnings. Of course a spark landed in the bucket and we all ran for cover. Fire works were shooting in all directions, while we grabbed the kids and ran for cover in the sun-room nearby. It was pure pandemonium, while the little kids were saying oooh, ahhh while standing in the sun-room and watching the light show through the windows.

My brother in-law has never lived down the famous "bucket bomb" fiasco.

Rofl,I have always pondered that...

That is great! (I mean you know I feel for the moose, don't want the PC crowd to get me.)

Now if you can tell how someone, can have pudding if they don't eat their meat, all my questions will be answered...

Well, look at it this way. The poor moose got quite a send off and memorial. It makes a 21 gun salute seem rather small and simple by comparison, eh?

More spectacular than just wandering off to the Moose Graveyard.

I think the town should erect a memorial to da Moose!
I believe I can say with all certainty that this will NEVER happen again.

Well , that sure is more eye catching than your standard emergency road flares.

I'm definitely going to have to file this incident in my
"Refused Immensities Calculating Queer Situations" folder.

There's only one way for the Universe to deal with an event like this,
and that is for Universe to orchestrate a similar event somewhere else
in order to balance things out. The Pendulum swings.
Stay tuned for more fireworks folks.

Thank you 4 the laugh.

I shared this story with a few friends.

(sorry moose) The damn thing is I doubt I'll have as many mourners as the moose.
