Every administration seems to be a continuation of the last...

It's all the same with a subtle bi-partisan difference in the direction of energy.

Obama had talked about all his plans for change but that changed quickly as he got into the white house and realized he had to maintain the same status quo that Bush maintained and set up for him to maintain.

Most of what the public is focused on is just a distraction - gun control, healthcare, etc. IMO the biggest change Obama brought was signing off on the bailout which I think even Romney would have signed off on in those circumstances.
