you seem to like having your head buried in the sand.

Just because he hasn't succeeded. It doesn't mean he hasn't tried. I'm quite sure he hasn't finished trying.

Don't be surprised when they come knocking on your door. Maybe then you will wake up!

I had a conversation with someone who I'd consider aware about gun control. He's opinion is like many of us, there is a gun control agenda and it is blatantly obvious to some. However my generation(I'm 30) and the older generation refuse to take the bait on the gun control propaganda and they know this.

So that takes the gun control issue to the next generation. College age and younger are more vulnerable to the propaganda and that is where they are concentrating their efforts.

The gun control agenda is very real!

People are allowed to have differences of opinion, and they are allowed to try to pass legislation. That's democracy in a free country.

But calling it propaganda is funny seeing as pro-gun people use more "propaganda" than I've ever seen for a given topic.

I hope they never come to my door. I took an oath and take that oath to heart and will uphold it until I breath my last breath. That oath did say "foreign and domestic".

Don't worry. They'll save the Oath Keepers for last. You're 99,039,890 on the list.

Who am I kidding? They're just going to drone strike your house since they know you'll fight back.

No, actually we are probably closer to making it into the top 10 than you think. About 9 months ago we found out that DHS has the Oath Keepers organization listed on the terrorist watch list due to our "prior military training with a large percentage of it's active members having some degree of special operations training combined with their adherence to the Constitution and public expression of their adherence to their oaths".

According to information that was obtained through a FOIA request we found that we are considered a domestic paramilitary group.

Go figure? We honor our oaths and we are on a watchlist while the sorry POS politicians that make it a daily habit of stomping all over our rights and Constitution while ignoring their oaths treat themselves like they are above all of us. It is really enough to make a person ill.

This confirms to me exactly what I have been telling people for a long time now. Gun control has nothing to do with controlling firearms or making us safe as a society, instead the end goal is ultimately people control. An unarmed society is always going to be left to the mercy and will of those who have control over them while an armed society will always have, as a last resort, the ability to resist tyranny and invasions of our human rights.

Not to mention the fact, he has went to the United Nations plenty of times to get things done. Take a look at this quote from this article back in 2009 (Keep in mind all these shootings that have taken place over the past few years).

A resolution before the U.N. General Assembly is sponsored by seven nations including major arms exporter Britain. It calls for preparatory meetings in 2010 and 2011 for a conference to negotiate a treaty in 2012.

(Editing by Eric Beech)

www.reuters.com...

The latest report I have seen so far is from the NRA magazine I read (America's First Freedom). It states in here that on April 3, 2013 the United Nations General Assembly approved the Arms Trade Treaty ATT in a 154-3 vote.
Nice right?

"Twenty three delegations abstained, though the United States voted in favor. On June 3, 2013, when the treaty opens for signature, the Obama administration will almost certainly sign the ATT.

After that, it's up to U.S Senate to ratify the treaty with two-thirds majority needed for the treaty to become binding law. At the moment, chances for ratification look slender -- during budget debates in March, the Senate voted 43-46 in favor of a resolution giving the chair of the Senate budget committee the discretion to reallocate funds to prevent the U.S from entering into the treaty. Unfortunately, the Budget Committee chair, at least until the next election, is staunchly anti-gun. Washington Sen, Patty Murray.

Sponsored by Sen. Jim Inholfe R-Okla, the resolution was supported by all 45 Republicans and eight Democrats. However, several senators who had previously supported NRA efforts against the ATT switched sides, such as Sen. Mark Udall D-Colo.

Treaties usually don't get brought up for a ratification vote until supporters are ready, so the treaty can sit in the Senate for months, or years, until its proponents are ready to move. Unless here is a formal Senate vote, or the president "unsigns it," the treaty remains permanently ready for senate passage. DON'T BE SURPRISED IF A COPYCAT MASS MURDER SOMETIME IN THE FUTURE IS USED AS THE OPPORTUNITY TO PUSH THROUGH THE TREATY.

Regardless of whether the U.S Senate ever agrees, the Arms Trade Treaty will be signed and ratified by most other nations. "

I read an article this afternoon where John Kerry said that Obama will sign the treaty, most likely within the coming weeks. This is after 130 congress members sent a letter to Obama expressing their disapproval and urging him to abstain from signing of the treaty.

Obama and his cronies will do as they wish regardless of the will of the people (their bosses) or the will of the rest of those in DC. So where is our representation on this matter? Truth is we are no longer a representative republic, we are a nation of sheeple that are willingly leading our selves to the slaughter because the vast majority are more concerned with what the government can give them than they are with protecting the liberty of this nation for future generations.

Not to sound distasteful but for once I agree with the Reverend Wright, America's chickens are finally coming home to roost and the nation as a whole is getting what it deserves for repeatedly electing these elitists to power based only on what hand outs they will receive in return.

"A democracy is always temporary in nature; it simply cannot exist as a permanent form of government. A democracy will continue to exist up until the time that voters discover that they can vote themselves generous gifts from the public treasury. From that moment on, the majority always votes for the candidates who promise the most benefits from the public treasury, with the result that every democracy will finally collapse due to loose fiscal policy, which is always followed by a dictatorship."

Alexander Fraser Tytler was spot on when he made that statement and we are seeing it come to full fruition right before our very eyes. I just pray to God that Obama isn't the one it all collapses under leaving us stuck under his dictatorship. He is bad enough as a wanna-be POTUS, just imagine how big his head will get if we see the collapse under his watch.

I have some land in a very remote undisclosed location and will be flying up there some this summer to start getting it set up off grid like where I am now. If we were to actually see this unfold I have my plans in place.

This is how it was explained to me .
Keep in mind,Obama has had more mass shootings on his watch ,than EVERY OTHER PRESIDENT ,COMBINED .

Colorado and Sandy hook were to get the ball rolling . Pass the first laws ,then another false flag or two ,and confiscation could begin .
This has been about nothing but getting guns out of our hands .

There actually were confiscations in California ,door to door ,with the claims these people had mental illness ?
I wondered how the cops got that info from the patients doctors, but you know, they have magical powers.

I didn't think the marathon was a false flag ,until I realized it was to shore up gun powder sales into the equation.
There's always a WHY .The marathon was a ? to me initially, and I assumed it was all real . My bad.

The problem is ,the NRA obviously has more pals in DC than Obama does.
So his step one fell flat. If that had passed, there would be FALSE FLAG PEOPLE DIE WEAPONS ARE BAD ,then step two . Then three.
Many things would have been restricted, down the road , if the first bill had passed ,now that it hasn't ,and some lovely person opened the flood gates for bengahzi and the IRS debacles ,Barry is a bit distracted .
Boo f****** hoo .

The fact Bloomberg is so behind it all, should be a clue that money making is involved somehow.
Fuhrer bloombarf does nothing for his constituants well being .He does it to make his rich pals money and get them tax breaks .

Uncle Sam has always had a keen eye on the American public but since 9/11 he has been scrutinizing the people with a microscope.

We have been subject to oversight since Americas inception, a bit more isn't very concerning to me. For the most part you don't have to worry unless you are in the wrong.

So I choose to sit on the fence on this issue. Gun regulations in America are not even close to perfect as they are... This is a small change which is hardly an issue blown out of proportion in the minds of some people just because it is in the topic of gun control. That and some people will rag on Obama for anything.

Really? Where's all this pro-gun propaganda?

Kids arent even allowed to talk about guns in school without getting suspended:

www.opposingviews.com...

We cant watch TV shows about guns:

www.foxnews.com...

...and if you own guns you are a racist:

girlsjustwannahaveguns.com...

...or possibly a terrorist:

www.examiner.com...

Looks like a lot of anti-gun propaganda to me but what do I know I'm just a paranoid, racist, terrorist, ignorant gun owner.

I agree about the police state but unfortunately I would have to disagree that its coming, it's already here. Just look at the numerous threads just in the last 6 months about police brutality and at how many of these incidents result in any kind of punishment for the cops.

Just imagine how bad the police will be if we are all disarmed and there is no chance of the people being able to fight back.

you are already unable to fight back if you fight alone. If a police officer wants to arrest you, for good reason or not, he will and if you fight back you will be beaten and charged with resisting arrest or assaulting an officer.

However the police state is not yet here. when they can listen and see into every home, drones are in the skies and they make anyone who doesnt obey a "criminal" then it will be a police state, and its currently in the making.

on your own you are powerless, society as a whole has the power to remove corruption but fear is holding us back.

So very true.
If you are alone, the court gets to hear your word against the word of 'an officer of the law'. We know who gets the benefit of the doubt there.

Everyone just take note of who is behind all tis anti-American, anti-constitution tirades. Because the liberal trash in power now, will be gone in the next election. And then is the time for a 2016 version of the House Committee on Un-American Activities.
Just imagine what else will come to light in the next three years!

Oh that's helpful. Let's take the focus off the us vs them (people vs the government) and put it back on liberal vs democrat. That's brilliant...sorry I meant ridiculous. Nothing stinks up a thread worse than partisan hacks.

Hats off to Benigno. He should start a radio talk show or something where he is in the public spotlight and hire a good PR team.

In the coming year he will likely be discredited by usual methods

1. Set him up with a women for a sex scandal
2. find something from his past to discredit him
3. find some inane piece of garbage on him now
