another Hoosier here. Me and my family at least have over 2 acres of gardens over our property. I for one don't care for them, but everyone else does.

A Hoosier is a nickname for someone from Indiana. As for the actual definition of the word...I don't really know. I have heard its a type of shoe, or other stuff pertaining to Indian folklore.

Another Hoosier here. Welcome to the forums. If you have any questions, there are many helpful members here.

For those that don't know what an Indiana Hoosier is, the Indiana Historical Society has a nice little article (CLICK ME) on the possible origins of the word "hoosier".
