and if the guy taken into custody at the SCENE is not appropriate to discuss here on the "Shooting at MIT" thread, where exactly would you suggest I discuss it? lol

CNN just showed to clear pics of the suspects. The one being put in the car looks like suspect #1.

Mass State Police unit heading to Mass General Hospital now, no word why. (Mass State Police Scanner)

I have, well HAD. Access to local police scanners all over the area and not a single one is working all are "Temporarily Unavailable". I'm currently listening to one online but it doesn't sound nearly as reliable, a lot of the same voices are talking instead of multiple officers.

It has trouble it seems. I am not sure if it is the amount of traffic it is getting or if they are just dropping it from time to time. It took me several tries to get it working, then it died out of the blue and took some time to get back up again.

Keep trying it, best of luck.

I honestly do not think that this is as simple as a "couple of suspects" shooting someone and fleeing, then causing all of this chaos 4 miles away. It really seems that it is still ongoing, or atleast from the posts of those who are actively listening to Local/State police scanners.
