Since the shooting at MIT the other reports of shots fired have been concentrated in one general area.

That's possible. But how do these guys have all these weapons and causing all mayhem tonight? They would have to be related to the bombers.

The two bombers would have each had a driver nearby. They were three blocks away from each other when the bombs blew at the marathon. Or two. They would have taken different escape routes.

the shots fired from different areas are diversionary, it might turn out to be more than two, maybe 5 like another poster suggested

You know, my mind is wandering back to earlier this evening when the FBI was VERY emphatic about how these guys should be considered extremely armed and dangerous.

Makes you wonder if they knew more, because I have never heard such an emphatic caution...and then this...

In my humble opinion if these where the bombers, they would have opened up on civilian targets and tried to cause as much devastation as possible , although I think these will be blamed for it

Thats what I thought as well... But what was the "disturbance" at MIT that caused the police officer to go there and get shot in progress? Could the guys have been setting up explosives at the university to blow up tomorrow, when people go to uni? And then when apprehended just shot him, and started plan B... Hihack cars, shoot and throw grenades all over the place. There were 2 guys after all, and only 1 has been arrested...
