I was a democrat since 1965, then I heard so many liberals calling anyone who did not support Obama a racist and left the party.

My pals who despised Bush for his wars, suddenly defended Obama for escalating the wars....very hard to stomach.

I still despise the Bush administration...but I find the Obama gang far more disturbing.

Perhaps most disturbing is the national media's sudden change from investigative reporting to outright propaganda. Again, very hard for someone who believe in individual rights and freedom to stomach.

While I think liberals can do some stupid things involving race(and other issues), let's be real. It's safe to say 99% of truly racist people voted for conservatives this past election.

I have to agree with you guys, white liberals (mostly younger ones) can be nasty people, I don't think there is really any denying it. In fact, I was a liberal during the Bush administration, but their recent holier-than-thou attitude has pushed me out!

It's going to cost them... I mean it might even cost them good things, such as helping the poor and stuff like that. I don't want to see our country become a totalitarian Christian regime either, really - or any totalitarian regime, for the matter - but that's exactly where the liberals are taking us through their incompetence.

The thing is, I'm not an idiot - I'm going to get pushed out of a party that is closed-minded, won't admit they are wrong, and expect everyone to think the same as them. As much as I would love to still be a full-on liberal, I just can't!

I still keep a lot of good liberal ideals, I just don't participate or support their hate-mongering, intolerance, and wish they would open their mind about some things before it's too late and they make some huge mistakes.

I have always felt that the democratic party was the more racist party- mostly because they continually
try to blame social situations on race instead of the actual problem. They like to blame societies problems
on the "evil white man", the most racist statement I have ever heard.
They say the black man isnt good enough to make it out of poverty on his own- so they try to give them things
that they dont feel he/she can get on their own.
There is always a race to blame- as long as they arent democrats. Its all hippy love after that/Psh.

your assessment rings true. i have a great respect for dr. ben carson. not just his accomplishments but his beliefs and how he lives his life. some main stream libs may not like his views/beliefs, but that does not give them the right to tell him what his views should be. i voted for obama, and i don't regret that decision. but i don't agree with many of his stances. i agree with almost everything dr. carson stands for. and it is difficult in this day and age to find other americans who feel the same way, and not fall in with the ultra conservative repubs. the main stream libs are on one side. gpac on the other. there's got to be a something more rational in the middle. i like dr. carson. i tell my kids to emulate him.

Are you familiar with NAMBLA? That would be the north american man-boy love association, are liberals pro-this group? They are allowed to hold their meetings in public libraries.

I remember PETA putting black naked people dressed up like animals in cages in California, and being called out vehemently by black people as attempting to emulate the black people's struggle after slavery with an "animal".

Liberals can be just plain stupid - the use the victim and oppresion mantra in many ridiculous ways.

I totally agree.

I am black and once I sat with a very good white friend of mine. She is absolutely obsessed with Obama and thinks that blacks cannot succeed because of slavery and racism. We had a conversation, during the Trayvon Martin deal about this very topic, stating that blacks are victims and will always be. I had to explain that there are successful blacks, and that deeming ourselves as 'victims' all the time keeps us unsuccessful. She couldn't understand why I wasn't in agreement with her statement, thinking that blacks could not ever be successful, needing handouts and excuses.

Yes, they are a pretty racists group.

I like Dr. Carson a lot. I'm glad someone stood up to Obama and his Socialist backers. I saw him in interview with Sean Hannity. Good man he is.

Dr Carson is calling the libs out on their treating conservative blacks like they shouldn't be off the plantation. Liberals are hideous users and I'm glad he stood up to them. Carson blew libs out of the water on this issue, and on treating blacks like they can't be smart and do things of their own accord.
Dr. Carson is a brain surgeon I believe.

The Democrat Party is using blacks, minorities, and women to bolster party numbers and they do this by promising stuff. They are using Marxist redistribution and "social justice". The art of Marxist social justice is not being taught in the public education system embedded in the Common Core Standards.

The Democrat Party and the liberal media have been extremely vicious to conservative blacks who don't go along with the program. Dems don't even follow their own rules when it suits them. This is done with cronyism. If you go along with the program you will get help, job promotions, scholarships, good media pr. If you don't you are sacrificed and thrown under the bus.

What they are doing is "social justice" and it's in tandem with "economic equality", which is code for Marxist redistribution of income and programs designed to equalize everybody. This is the Socialist way. The Democrats have become more and more Socialistic and especially with around 70 members of Congress are members of DSA. This is not happenstance. It is a gradual takeover.

Socialists don't want government hand-outs, liberals do, socialists want worker ownership of the means of production.

I hate the liberal welfare state as much as you, because it's nothing but a band aid when we really need a full transplant. But getting rid of it, while maintaining the capitalism that required it in the first place, is just not the answer unless you want to live in your mansion surrounded by poverty and misery.
