I think im going to watch the new season of Falling Skies to fill in the gaps until new Walking Dead starts again in October. And when that's over, it'll be about time for new GOT

Anyone catch the True Blood special before hand? The wifey was excited, me, not so much. More looking to Boardwalk Empire.

Yep, we pretty much switch to True Blood now. Originally, it was the reason we got HBO. Just as Dexter was the reason for getting Showtime. True Blood pretty much jumped the shark a season or so ago, but we've come this far with it, so no reason not to ride out the whole time. The books are actually pretty decent (and WAY different than the events on the show now...as the show departed around season 2).

Yeah, she's given the same feedback. I may read the books once the series is done.

At least it gives her a chance to break my balls a little like I do with GoT.

That is a great pic.

I went to Iceland where they filmed the wall scenes. And I spent the time fruitfully annoying everyone by answering their questions or statements simply with 'WInter is Coming'

Yes, Yes, Yes. Looking forward to it!. That line "For The Night is Dark and Full of Terrors" , really creeped me out.
In these days of street lights, science, etc., the night is not nearly so full of terrors, if you are an adult anyway. lol I will take modern times thank you very much.

This doesn't start until next year - right?

Dang it! My HBO has been saying Nov. but I googled and you are right. Now I have to reset my excitement level back down to 'waiting'. 'sigh' This happened last season too, it takes longer than they expect to film it I'm told. I suppose it it worth it as the locations are like characters.
