Rish Got Richer Under Clinton, Richer Under Bush and Now Even Wealthier Under Obama....

So, how rich is rich...now that Obama is being called the Global Head of Al Qaeda. I'll get to that later.

For the nonce, it's becoming increasingly obvious that Obama has become a Wealth Management Guru of American Capitalism.

Socialism if for those Walmart shoppers who wear their pants down below the cracks of their buttocks.

They got 65 cents of every dollar created in that boom, up 20 cents from when Clinton was President. Under Obama, the 1% got 93 cents of every dollar created in that boom. That’s not only more than under Bush, up 28 cents. In the transition from Bush to Obama, inequality got worse, faster, than under the transition from Clinton to Bush. Liberals rightfully lambast Bush for getting us into the disastrous Iraq war. But Obama has in fact launched wars in Libya, Syria, Yemen, Pakistan … and up to 35 African nations

I like how you presented this. People who believe Republicans V. Democrats are in complete denial of the reality of our political situation in the US. Both sides are bought and sold and controlled. By the Rich, For the Rich.

In addition to the growth of the "super" rich, the middle class and poor have been hurt tremendously-when you factor in low wage growth, high unemployment, and the actual inflation. There is nothing left of most people's checks at the end of the month. And, probably debt as well.

The rich, namely through a variety of corporations have SOLD OUT the USA. They are all criminals. Especially since so much of our technology was sold to China. All so they could make a buck.

Great post op and fully agreed. Power doesn't know politics or economic theory for systems. It just knows the desire for more power at any cost. ...while we normal folk get used as the rungs of the ladder those in all systems across the world use to achieve those high levels.

When the FEMA camps start to fill up, they'll be populated by the socialist shoppers in the Walmarts.

Walmart is a an ingenuous plan to keep the masses contained and accounted for in a regularly confined area. Just back the prison paddy wagon up to the entrance, herd the shoppers into the wagon, drop them off at the FEMA camps.

All in all, Obama has created an interesting system of keeping the masses placated with welfare, food stamps, same sex marriage, abortion and whatever else socialism is about.

The rest of us, well, we keep our heads above water. If you don't have your guns and ammo already stored, you haven't been keeping your head above water.

There are sooooooo many sub-normal socialists out there, the opportunities are endless to rise above the coughing masses.

I'm pretty sure everyone knows what 'socialism' means.

It's an economic sub-system for creating the subsistence for the masses in dire jeopardy.

You've got your welfare. You've got your food stamps. You think you've got Obamacare...but there won't be enough hospital beds to go around for you. Sorry to burst your bubble.

Your title could equally be applied to the UK situation. It's not a cliché to state that the rich are getting richer and the rest are getting screwed. Note that the middle classes are amongst those getting screwed, though they haven't all figured it out yet. The poor are being abused unashamedly, and the most disadvantaged (disabled people) are suffering terribly under the present 'austerity measures'.

There may be an element of coordination to the decline of Western standards, to what end we can hazard a few guesses.


EDIT TO ADD - an estimated 7, 000, 000 children in the UK are presently living below the poverty line. It's a rotten mess in many regards, God only knows how we'll ever sort it out. .

Okay, but it just seems you ignored a significant portion of what I wrote. The point remains though - the problem can't be solved by admonition to make better decisions; vast swathes of humanity are being willfully screwed over by extremely rich people who control politicians of all colours.

A radical overhaul of the entire system is required, if Western civilisation is to avoid inevitable collapse (such collapse would enable depopulation and the establishment of some fascist totalitarian order, with all the super-rich holding onto power, forcing submission of the rest who didn't perish during the collapse. .)
