Here some advice that works for myself during my chaotic moment (most I learnt from ATS):

Don't blame god. Instead blame yourself for believing in an imaginary entity that doesn't even exist to help you, to listen to your prayer, etc.

Blame yourself for listening to whatever inside you that you believe is you or imaginary god and his angels.

Finally, blame yourself for not being able to Let Go everything you own, that's including your suffering, sadness, angers, etc

Instead of being a salmon, try to be a leaf that floats on top of a river.
Don't fight back. Let the river take you wherever it flows to: a bigger river to more bigger rivers, and finally to the ocean where all the rivers unite.

Learn to accept whatever coming at you and let them go as that moment pass. The concentration on the very now is the most valuable experience, the every second you experience.

Why worry about past and future when they are just illusion?
Past makes yourself to look back into it but you also cannot do anything to change it. Therefore it's an illusion.
Future makes yourself to worry whatever coming at you but it probably won't happen like what you imagine, Therefore it's an illusion.
Let go the illusion.

You have to realize that a lot of people around the world needs you. You can improve your life by helping them. By helping them, you also help yourself

Our he can blame others for brainwashing him to believe in such and ruining his mind (to an extent).

Because, it is what is being experienced, and if it looks like a duck, walks like a duck, and can be felt as a real duck, it doesn't matter if it is an "illusion" - the qualities/pain/suffering is still felt.

That's like saying doing worry about the future pain/suffering because it is an illusion, doesn't change the fact that if you don't DO something the PAIN is felt.

How do you know? It probably will as history seems to repeat itself. Not all the times, but most of the time. Looking to the past is WISE, Learn from your mistakes.

No, they need themselves. It is hypcritical for you to tell him to stop blaming others and take responsible but say nothing about others who feel they "need" him. They need responsibility of their own life just like you claimed he need to be responsible for his. Then everyone can be a bit more happy and free (independent).

Or, helping them will put a burden on his back and make him feel worse. He needs to focus on himself and improve himself. You told him to take responsibility (by saying "stop blaming others") and then you are trying to get him to serve others when the same advice should be given to THEM.

He needs to take control/responsibility of his life. I agree with you there, but the same should be said for OTHERS, not just him. At this point he should focus on improving HIMSELF if he wants to be happy as the damage (brain manipulation - BELIEFS) has already been done. I agree with you there.
