I switched on my net this morning.... goto to facebook because I do have 2 accounts on it... one to mess about with games and another for serious personal use but this morning when I g to sign in in my usual way which i've allowed the browser to remember (which is Firefox)... I fnd that somehow it has also remembered 2 of my other email address which I have never ever used on facebook!

What the funk is this about?

Are they trying to spy on my accounts with Hotmail and check my emails???

Time to do a complete wipe of my browsing activities and stop it from ever doing that... I suggest you all do the same....

Hmhmhmh

I may have misunderstood, but you are fretting over Firefox entering the rest of you email when you started it yes?

I use 3 regular emails, one work, one personal and one for everything else,

Now they are all similar except 2 characters, so when i go to register on a new website it automatically gives me the full option of all my 3 emails after i type the first 2 characters.

If this is what you are experiencing, do not fret, this is auto fill and how it works.

If however, it is remembering logging that were never used (Passwords), then it may be more serious.

Namaste.

Facebook didn't do that. You must have signed into your email accounts and didn't clear your history/cache. Browsers automatically remember account names/email addresses that have been used recently and automatically fill them in for you to save you time (if you didn't clear your history/cache that is.)

This feature is called 'autofill'.

I agree with this comment.

Probably caused by the the "autofill" feature of your browser.

For your info, firefox saves all of your login credentials, and you can even look them up and see the password.

you can find / clear it here:
Extra -> Options -> security -> "saved passwords" button.

You are able to disabled this, but default its on!

Still strange it saved information you never put in there.. Have no anwser for that.

thanks for your replies, however, my main browser is 'Opera' which would be the one to remember my hotmail accounts! I have never used 'Firefox' to open my hotmail accounts so I'm really baffled by them appearing in the log in bar for Facebook which I only use on Firefox and btw, I get your jokes but 'Facebook' is not the first site I go to when I switch on the net!!

And yes, I do know how to clear my browser!!
